Thanks Mari! I am terrible at finding good airfare prices. I don't know what it is.

We are flying out of PIT (Pittsburgh International) to MCO and our dates are Sat September 25th to Sun October 3rd. But we are also open to flying down on Friday September 24th. I usually only fly non-stop, but it looks like I may have to be a little more flexible about that this year.

I am going to go look again. This morning I found a flight leaving the night before (Sept 24th) and coming back the next morning (Oct 4th) for fairly cheap. Like $660 for all 3 of us - but then I would have to factor in another 2 nights of hotel and DDP, etc....

I guess that just paying the extra money on the flight would be worth it.....

I hate when it doesn't work out perfectly. LOL. I know that makes me sound bratty - but I am used to my flights being affordable, being exactly when I want them, at the right time of day, and everything.

I am whining.

Mari- Poor Marissa but boy will she be thrilled when she finds out!!!!

Lake- I surprised my kids this past Christmas- it was hard to do but well worth it! I put the first clue stuck in the train under the tree and their final clue led them to a big box we wrapped. We filled it with balloons, sunglasses, shirts and treats for the trip, a note telling them that we are going and a countdown chain for each of them. It was fun watching them search the house following clues!

Jo- Sorry I missed your send off yesterday! Hope your trip is magical and can't wait to hear all about the Poly!!!

Happy almost Mother's Day! I'm home with a sick baby today. Andrew started with a sky high fever yesterday (104.8!!! I almost passed out when I took it! ) Turns out he has strep for the 3rd time this school year- darn Kindergarten germs! We are home relaxing and recuperating today. His temp is down to 102 this AM and I'm hoping the antibiotics kick in soon. At least it gets me out of visiting my MIL tonight. That's awful of me isn't it.

Good luck with the surprises Mari and Lake! That is so great that you can actually keep the trip a surprise until you get there Mari. That will be so awesome!! I did the surprise box on Christmas morning 2008 Lake. For our Jan. 2009 trip. It was great!!

Sorry Andrew is so sick Kim. I hope he gets better as the day goes on.

It is going to be HARD!! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it was so hard for me! You'll have to lie and talk in code to your DH for months. It was well worth it in the end though and I am so glad we did it!! But I probably won't do it again. Well, unless it was a last minute trip or something like that. While DS11 was happy and surprised, he said he missed out on the planning with me. DS8 on the other hand said he wished we wouldn't have told him until the very day we were leaving.


I'll have to see if I can find my old thread about the surprise. . . .

Jason and I are already walking around with grins and talking in code. And waiting till they are far away, or after they are in bed to browse the net and look at the brochures. I know we'll be able to do it though. Just for the pure joy of seeing their faces, and the surprise.

I can hardly wait.

I'm going to have to keep Em sitting withy me while I'm on the DIS. I can't have her seeing my ticker. That little one is too smart.

Hmm. . . That IS quite the dilemma!

Could you squeeze 3 parks in there? My top 2 would be DHS and Epcot. But it wouldn't be WDW without going to MK. . . Maybe you could do MK and another park (DHS or AK, depending on what you like best) and then a half day at Epcot - Future World, since World Showcase is so time consuming. . . Will you get park hoppers? Then you could do whatever you wanted.

2 TS meals. . . That would be hard too! Maybe one character meal and one other nice/favorite TS. When will your ADR day be?

Our cruise leaves January 3rd at 4 pm. So we'll have to be over in Port Canaveral no later than 2pm.

So probably just 2 parks...and I'm not sure if we'll hop or not this time.

We are flying to MCO on January 1st.
So we have January 1 and January 2.. and only the very early morning of the
3rd.


So I thought we could do a quick park visit and dinner on the 1st.
For sure we will do MK on the 2nd.
and then maybe a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's on the 3rd,( we won't need a park pass to go there), and maybe DTD, before boarding the bus to Port Canaveral at noon, with all my family.
