Afternoon, everyone!!!

Welcome back NC--- we'd love a TR from the cruise!


Thanks to all the MAYers PD and prayers.........

My Mom is now back on the way!

She stayed for two nights in a hotel on the side of I40 in between Knoxville and Nashville.

They've closed I40 in different places due to the floods in Nashville so she had to find another way to get here.

She's going about 500 miles out of the way, but bless her heart--- she's heading west as we speak!

She gets the medal for being the best mama in the world.

Kim--- glad your FIL is doing a bit better now--- I'm keeping him and you all in my thoughts and prayers-- praying for a good report to come.

I hope Huggie is having a great time.... Finals ALMOST OVER.... sheesh i can't wait then it's onto WDW planning.... oh yeah Marissa forgot about the trip then i tricked her into thinking it's for halloween, so this will be a surprise for her.... i'm not gonna tell her until we get to MCO.... i'm going to take her the the Dis store there and let her pick a pin then off to check in..... i can't wait..... i'll take pics of her reaction and post them... i'm actually also not talking about it anymore around either so she can forget about the trip all together.....

well quick update for me... well i'm in the last week of the semester... finals all this week... shoot me now... but on the sunnier side my DH is sending me and Marissa to WDW in June..... i will be there June 9 - 14 ... Marissa bday is on the 10th so we get to spend her 5th bday there.. i'm so excited.... and this time around we are staying at POP....it really was last minute.... like last week we finally decided yes.....so that is something for me to look forward to...

Sounds like your trip will be so much fun!!! We LOVE POP!!! You gurs will have a nice time there! Keep trying for your ADR, even while you are there. You know I am the queen of scooping up last minute ADRs. I would be so happy to share my crown with you!!!

Hey NC! How was the cruise??? We want details!

An update for me: I haven't been on as much as I'd like lately either. I started substituting at the school in February. Started out about 1 day a week and now it is nearly everyday! I really love it though! So with that, soccer, hockey, PTO, Disney planning, etc., I have been very busy!! Next Monday is my ADR day!

Hope things are well with you and your family!

The cruise was wonderful. So relaxing. My family really enjoyed it. I still have WDW in my heart, but I am not sure my family will want to return anytime soon.

Sounds like you have been super busy. How exciting to be able to make your ADRs on Monday! I hope you get them all!

So glad your mom found a way around the flooding. Haven't these storms been crazy? We are in the process of getting a new roof. There was a hail storm March 10 that was almost the worst I have ever seen. Now, two weekends in row of bad weather and sleepless nights, I am ready for an easy breezy nice weather Mother's Day weekend!!!

Hey all.... Had to come on to show my excitement..... I purchased our airline tix today for only 358 round trip for me and Marissa.... My only dilema was I had to pay for them cause it was too late to call my grandpa since he was gonna pay for them... Oh well but they were cheap....... And Friday I'm booking my vacation package... Now I know it's 100% a go.... So excited.....

I had no idea Disney had feral cats on the property! Interesting! I guess someone has to keep the smaller mouses at bay. Good thing Mickey is gone by that time of day.


Just wanted to share out little mom's day project we finished this morning. They turned out so cute! Tomorrow we will be baking muffins for our special Mom's Day Muffin Morning on Friday. I love when the day goes smoothly. I'm feeling very accomplished lately- finished my website, am about halfway through with 2 online classes, new room is almost done, prepping for my license renewal, the light is at the end of the tunnel...I'm almost there!

So Sunday was Bat's Day at Disneyland. It is an unofficial event where members of the goth and punk communities in the LA area show up to enjoy Disneyland. More info here: http://www.batsday.com/

Although they may look a bit strange and bizarre, there were no problems and everyone seem to have a great time.

As you might expect...they even arrive a bit differently than others who come to DL.

I made a button to celebrate the event to give away to my friends.

I decided to be a bit "goth" that day as well.

My wife liked my purple hair - do you?

Now, I didn't have a picture of Jeremy, he didn't do anything special but wear a Spice Girls t-shirt. And I swear, the goths made more comments about that stinking shirt. (And they did like my purple hair too.)

Trevor and I! Trevor met his girlfriend at Bat's Day four years ago. They dance every Saturday night at CPG.

There was some "Jersey Shore" goths out too. Dig the buffo hair!

Construction crews were working hard on Sunday on the Rivers of America - a new paddle wheel was installed on the Mark Twain.

Lena and her friend, Ruth. They played VMK together and they finally met on Sunday. She lives close by and has an annual pass. She is a riot!

Yes, I have seen the DL cats (and mice) too. They even have little "homes" for them where they feed them. They mostly come out at night, after the fireworks or when the crowds die down.

I did take photos. I'll try to post some next week. The food ranged from great to good. The only bad thing I had was a steak. It was not a good cut of beef, but other than that the food was wonderful. We thought the Voyager of the Seas was a beautiful ship, we have nothing to compare it to, but we thought it was awesome.

I'll have to check out that clip. I am sure my son will want to see the new Iron Man movie.

Morning everyone.

It's nice to be able to do the stairs again with my foot and to get back to my office and back to my computer.

Things have been busy around here I see...everyone planning visits to WDW and packing and buying tickets and such...

I was feeling left out for a while... BUT not anymore...CHECK OUT MY NEW TICKER!!!!! So excited!!!!


For my dad's birthday trip we have decided that we will be doing a disney cruise!!!!!! and Jason, the kids and I will do a few days at WDW before we leave.
So 14 of us ranging from newborn to 70 will be together on the cruise.
Not only will my dad get to celebrate his 70th birthday with all his kids and grandchildren...but Ethan will spend his 9th birthday on board as well. How cool is that!


Oh..and SHHHHHHHH!!!! The kids don't know. It will be a christmas surprise, and we will leave a week later.


Now I get the fun of deciding where we want to stay at WDW for a few days. I think it may be the Caribbean Beach Resort... keeping with the Carribean Cruise theme. But keeping all my options open.
