Greetings from Canada...where it almost looks like spring!
Though someone mentioned snow for monday but I refuse to believe them now. I am enjoying getting outside.

We have been busy, and are enjoying Mrach Break off school this week, so spent 4 days up at my parents, and visited some frineds from out of town.


Hope everyone is well. Now to go catch up with what you have all been up to. I am very glad to see you all here.

Happy Friday Mayers!!!!

We are having another beautiful and warm day here in SoCal. The weekend will be up in the 80's. WOW! And this is our spring weather. I think we are going to have a blazing hot summer this year.

Meeting up with KB and Brrrt today this afternoon at DLR! Looking forward
to seeing them today. She told me that they had a very nice dinner at Napa Rose celebrating their anniversary - I am sure she will let us know the details about that in her TR.

Tomorrow is my son Chris' 18th birthday. He wanted to go to DL and take some friends, so that is what we are doing. Sunday we are going to crash and sleep. LOL! Long weekend!

I got the day off!! And it is a beautiful day. Sunny and near 70 today and tomorrow!! I sure hope this means we are done with winter. But it is a little early for that here. I'm sure we will have another snow before it's all said and done.

The weather here is gorgeous! We spent our morning outside again today. I'm enjoying a little break. Only 2 daycare kids and DD.


Jo- My kids are getting pizza for their bday party- no steaks here. We've got about 50+ people coming and that could get a little expensive. What movie are they seeing? Belle's production sounds like something off Broadway

Shelly- Sounds like you are a full time teacher these days. And stop using that 4 letter *S* word will ya! Winter is done.

I know! I have mostly been working in learning support and I am really enjoying it. But yesterday they had me sub for the secretary. That was interesting considering I had no clue what I was doing!!

How about an update on yesterday Sea???


Not too much going on around here yet this weekend. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit more so we can go outside!!!! Sure am enjoying all this time outside in MARCH!!

I don't think I told you guys -- I got my airfare a few weeks ago!! I tell ya, I have never been booked so far in advance for everything. Last time I got my airfare about 6 weeks out! I got it for $79 each way. Not too bad. Not great, but still good. It would be great if I didn't have to figure in baggage fees later. But it has done nothing but go up since I booked. The flight down is nearly double what I paid for it!

Just a quick update and then tomorrow I will give you a full report later, since I have to leave and meet up with my wife at DL in a little while to help with Chris' birthday celebration at the park.

We had a awesome time with KB and Brrt! Lots of laughs and fun! They had an amazing vacation here DL celebrating their anniversary. We made a shout out video, with a special surprise...ha ha ha ha...I will edit it tomorrow and post it up.

just got home...soooooooooo tired ....drove about 8 hours ...did 2 loads of laundry and now I'm ready to say hello to my pillow.

We had a great time! Our meet up with Sea, Mrs. Sea, and their sons was a blast...we saw the Dapper Dans show; rode the Matterhorn, Indy, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates; ate dinner; made a silly shout out video; saw the fireworks from a very cool secret spot ; and caught a set of the Elvis show. I'll try to get started on my trip report tomorrow...shouldn't be a long report, but we did a lot and had a wonderful 3 1/2 days
