Trix - Thanks for the update on Shelly. Can you at least tell us if something BIG happened??? :rolleyes1 I promise I'll still read her TR. I pinkie swear :flower3:

Well, they didn't make it to rope drop at DHS if what you're asking is what I think you're asking. :sad1:

Good morning!

Shelly - Can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Hi NC and Jodi... how is the weather in AK. It's frosty here this morning... I can see my breath.

Mari - How goes school?

KB- Hang in there. Sending you some mayer pixie dust.

Sulley- Hope you are feeling better, and the new job is going great.

Kim- I hope your home project is going well.

Trixie- Frankenmuth...any ideas or thoughts that we can run by Shelly when she returns.

RF- Jason wants to know if you and Bob have the enhanced drivers licenses... apparently if you have that you may not need a passport?????

Sea- have a fantastic vacation. Well derserved for all of you. Can't wait to hear about all of it. haha Will we get some SEA lunch and dinner reports with pictures from on board? That is the one thing I really remember from our cruise. The meals were fantastic.

Another busy day here. Let me just say that I am currently moving furniture back in place and loading up book shelves again... yep.. we are almost done. :)

My new office... is AWESOME! I am sitting it it now as I type to you instead of at the diningroom table. I can't even tell you how long I have wanted this...a place for me to read and write and scrapbook all of my own. A place where I can just shut the door and get away from everything. Jason has done a tremendous job. I have the best hubby!

Okay... off to take Emmy to gymnastics.

Have a great day everyone.

The weather is a bit cooler here this morning. It was 46 and sunny when I took the kids to school. According my phone, it is currently 56 with a high today of 66.

In Orlando, it is currently 57 and cloudy. High today 69.

It is so awesome that your project is nearly done! Next step! Project report, complete with photos!!!

Oh my! Good luck with teaching that topic!

My project probably won't be finished anytime soon. It's a weekend project that my DH works on whenever he can. I'm hoping to have it done before we leave for our trip in Jan but I doubt it. We'll see!

Glad they were both okay...scary! Hope insurance covers the car damage.

Thanks for the update- I'm glad the weather is holding off for them. I can't wait to read that TR!!! :woohoo:

Thanks! I am going to need it. I can barely type the word sex education, not to mention teach it to 20 6th graders. My kids, no problem. Children of strangers...

Sounds like you a little more work ahead of you on your project. Hang in there!!! It'll all be worth it in the end!!!

Morning all! :snooty:

I hope to be popping in and out all day today. Not sure how busy I will be at work, so hopefully I will be able to get a little Dis time in :woohoo:

Sea - Have a fabulous time!!! Drink something tropical and delicious for me! :thumbsup2

KB - How's everything out your way?

Lake - I don't know what the enhanced drivers liscense is...? So, I guess that means 'No' I don't have one. But, I'll look into it!

NC - How are you? How have Chris and Chloe been doing? Good luck with your new *ahem* class... :rotfl:

Hello to all the MAYers!!!! :snooty: :snooty:   :snooty: :snooty:

I am doing ok. I have been a little anxious lately. DHs job has been very stressful lately, and I just can't stand to see him so stressed, it breaks my heart and then I feel helpless and anxious. I worked out really hard this morning trying to relive some of my stress and hopefully I can sleep better and feel peaceful. :thumbsup2

Chris and Chloe are doing better. I think reading the book helped. It has lots of great suggestions. Chris was out of school on Monday yaking. I am praying that he completes all of his make-up work. :littleangel: Chloe is doing great! Last night she and I went to Wal-Mart and had a great time. We bought items to put into shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We bought enough food items to fill two boxes for the Holiday meal drive that we participate in at church, green beans, corn, fruit cocktail, yams, rice, cornbread, cake mix, and frosting, a large Kool aid container, etc. They have a list of what do buy, so that makes it easy. You add $6 to the box and they add a small hen, I believe. Then we also bought 20 cans of green beans, 10 cake mixes and 10 frostings for the food drive at school!!! It was a lot of fun. I made Chloe direct us through the store. She had the list, and while she goes with me all the time, the poor child had no idea where anything was. After, she commented about how glad she was they have signs at the end of every food isle or she would have never found anything! So that was lots of fun!!

I am going to need all the help I can get with the class! That's for sure! :rotfl2:

Well, they didn't make it to rope drop at DHS if what you're asking is what I think you're asking. :sad1:

Darn! And I had such high hopes for them!!! :cutie:

Hi All!

Well, I brought up the luggage last night. But did we didn't pack anything.

Spent the night organizing my office and computer files. Took old slides that my wife had found at her mom's house from her trip to Germany in 1968 and spent more time figuring out how to scan them - then made some prints and surprised my wife this morning with them. Of course, I didn't get to be until 2:30 a.m.!

Sea

Lake - Of course I will take pictures of food. I will try to post a report or two from the cruise ship.

RF - Yes, I will find something fun to drink!

Jo - I will not forget my drawers! This is a "non-comando" holiday.

Kim - No warm PB sandwiches for me, but I do love those toasted pretzel bites with peanut butter in them. Sorry to disappoint you on being such a bad packer.

NC - Can't wait to hear about your teaching experiences.

KB - How is your mom?

Sea - Your neice and nephew are so cute!!! Although, your wife could give a run for their money when she was a kid. You've got a good lookin' family!

:thumbsup2

Thanks NC! I just fell in love with the slides we found - a real treasure!

Trixie- Frankenmuth...any ideas or thoughts that we can run by Shelly when she returns.

My biggest word of advice would be to bring lots of money...especially if you love Christmas! ;) :santa:

How long are you thinking you'd be there? It would be over a weekend? How long will it take for you to get there? You may be closer than we are!

Is there anything specific you're wondering about?

Bon
Voyage,
SEA!!!!!!

Have a wonderful, safe vacation!

More than likely just for a weekend. In Feb or March. I think it would be about 2 hours for us to get there.

I was only there once, just stopped in to see the town on our way to Sault Ste. Marie. So I have never really experienced it.

Morning :goodvibes It's FRIDAY! :cool1:

Tomorrow I am going to an all day scrapbooking crop. It starts at 8am and isn't over until 12am  I don't think we'll stay the whole time - but it'll be a nice day out. It was $65 but that includes all 3 meals, snacks, a scrapbook goodie bag, demonstrations... etc.

It should be fun! :goodvibes
