Hi guys. Sorry it's been a while.

There's been some shenanigans at the Rusafee household.

The party was a lot of fun.... but I think I am realizing I am too old for this crap. I had a house full of super drunk ridiculous people - throwing up, breaking stuff.... Ugh. I'm over it. I am still cleaning up the wreckage.

And - because of that party -my basement drain started backing up with sewage all over my floors. I am taking a half day of work tomorrow so I can have someone come out and snake it.

Hey guys, I have to get back onto the disboard swing. I am so glad everyone is doing well.

Isabelle started Kindergarten in Sept. I cant believe my baby is in school. I miss her terribly still.

Meghan is in PreK and will start kindergarten in sept. I cant believe my babies are growing up.

Here is a recent pic of Isabelle she is a cheerleader now. Which leaves me with no time on my hands, between practice 2 x a week and competition and games. Meghan does soccer and Neil and coach for her. I am one busy mommy.

Thanks for the condolensences. It was very hard for us because he was only 6. We did chemo for him which put us back 15,000. It seems crazy but at the time it was worth it. This is why we have not been back to disney until this coming May,

Max is a shepard mix. We rescued him from North Shore Animal League. He is a BIG boy. He is only 16 weeks and over 40 lbs. Henry my older dog is 80lbs. I LOVE big doggies. They are great. I wouldnt worry about the space. As long as you have the room in your hearts you will have the room in the house.

Hi Mayers! I haven't had much time to check in lately. Darn work keeps getting in the way. All is well here. DD has a stuffy nose and this time change is messing with me big time.

Jo- weird you got bleeped I kept looking at the letters to see if it made some secret bad word but couldn't figure it out either.

Shelly- You're so close now!!!! Hope the boys are keeping healthy!

Huggiebear- Your girls are beautiful! Sorry to hear about Max. Your new baby is adorable...hope he gets through the puppy stage real soon! I love that he was a rescue

Katiebell- I hope things start looking up for you. Hang in there.

NC- Crossing fingers Noah finds a job. This job market is terrible. My Dad was laid off last year after 38 years with a company. He finally just found something after almost a year of looking- not what he wants but right now a job is a job.

Lakehead- How was the TRU sale? I went on Sunday and got the Tag and Tag Jr and a few other small things. I pretty much got my kids done for Christmas in less than an hour. Not much to buy when a trip to Disney is under the tree

RF- Sounds like shenanigans alright- especially when sewage is involved!! Ewwwww!

Oh how I wish a trip to Disney was under my tree this year.

I did pretty well at Toys R Us
A few games for us as a family and for the kids on their own. Stratego, Blokus to name a few. I picked up a Wii for grandma and grumpa. (All their kids are splitting on it.) And a couple little things which will end up as stocking stuffers.

Today I am off downtown to get some irritating errands done, like my health card renewal and drivers license renewal. I have a 9:45 appointment, so I am hoping I'm not still in line at 10:45. You know how the DMV can be. Luckily they are in the same building.
After that I am going to the flooring store...yep the basement is almost ready for some flooring. One more room to paint..the flooring, and baseboards and we will be done the construction, and I can focus on the decorating.


I'm still looking for some nice prints for the walls, but I may end up framing some great pics I took of the kids. I'd rather pay to enlarge those photos, rtaher than just buy something I'm not loving. And use them till I find the right painting or print.

Lake-- sounds like shopping yesterday was fun and you got some good stuff. Today.... ewwww.... I hate having to do little errands like that. It makes me cranky.


RF--- Holy seeping sewage, Batman.
Girl- that is just plain what we call "Sucky butt". When we hate something greatly- and think that there is nothing worse at that moment than that situation, that's our name for it.
And then we say "Everybody sayyyyyyyy-- "SUCKY BUTT"!!!!" and everyone yells-- "Sucky Buuuuuuuuuuuutt!"
As a matter of fact, I used it this morning with a situation Mark was telling me about with work.
It makes you feel a lot better after you yell it. Go ahead-- I'll let you bite my rhyme. You can use it.




I;ve onky had one cup of coffeee this morning- yes one. Working on my second. I have waaay too much energy.

Who's here to talk to me- or do I have to go clean out Belle's room before I want to???
