Well, it has been 38 days since we returned from our vacation to wonderful WDW. I must say that everyone had a BLAST. We are already looking forward to the next trip but I am dealing with severe Disney withdrawal!!! So, it is one to the trip report!!! I need to relive our fantastic trip through telling all of you about it and sharing the pictures as well.

Now, lets start with the usual cast of characters!!!
First there is Me, Angel. I have been to Disney twice before. Once when I was 8 or so and again when I was in my mid 20's. It has been 13 years since I last went so I was considered a first timer again. Sweet!

My husband, Tim. He went YEARS ago with his ex. They did not have a good trip because of her. He was a little anxious about this trip because of his past trip but on the way home from this one he said..."When are we going back? I hope soon!!!!!"

Then there is our children! Hannah is 18 and this will probably be our last family trip with her. She is seriously dating a guy and they are talking about marriage. Bailey is 11 and was excited to be able to eat of the adult menu!:yay: Sawyer is 8 when we leave and turns 9 while we are there!!!! He has no idea what is going to happen :confused3 Then there is the littlest smith child....Brenna. She is 4 and has been packing for Disney since Christmas when we told them we were going!:cutie:

I made a puzzle shaped like mickey ears and had the kids answer riddles to find the next piece. When they put it all together, they knew what our vacation was going to be!!! This is Sawyer when he realized we would be there ON his birthday!!!

Now we are off to the planning!!!!!!

I hope you will join me on the journey back to Disney!!!

I see in your ticker, you have a trip planned already. Good for you. I'm glad you had a great time.

I started planning this trip way back in October and hit the Disboards everyday. Trying not to let the kids see it because we didn't want them to know until Christmas morning. I tried to get the DH to come and join me and while he did come a few times, not like I did. We had several conversations that went something like this...

DH- "we should go 'here' first and then go 'here' next".
Me- "No, the Disboards say to go the other way because that is very busy at that time.
DH- "How do they know?"
Me- "If you would go on there you would know how they know!"

How would they know? HOW WOULD THEY KNOW? Was he serious? I defer to the experts here for everything Disney!!!!

So, with the help of a book a friend gave up, the things DH wanted to do and All the tips I found here, I planned and planned!!!

Date of trip- May 27th through May 30th.
Place we were staying-All Star Music

First up- Leaving day! We were going to leave at 4 a.m. and I went to bed at 8 the night before. Have you seen the commercial where the parents tell the kids to go to sleep and the little boy says "We're to excited to sleep!" Well, that was me! At 1:45 my eyes popped open and I couldn't go back to sleep!!! At 2:45 I woke DH and told him that since I was awake we should get going. He wasn't to happy that I woke him up but he did get up! We threw the last minute things into the car, loaded the kids and off we went! I drove until 9:30 or so and when we stopped for breakfast, DH took over driving and I took a nap!

We left the day before check in because we have a 9 1/2 hour drive. The weather is perfect! Just take a look!!!

DH picked the hotel we would stay in because as he said "You planned the whole Disney trip, I want to pick the hotel we stay in before and after!"
Let me just say, he didn't do so well! When we pulled in, we could tell it was run down. After he checked us in, we drove around to our room and saw some not so savory characters! One guy sitting in the door of his room without his shirt, drinking something from a bottle! :scared1:
But once we got into the room, it wasn't so bad, they were remodeling (they needed it!!!) and the rooms had brand new mattresses!!!! :cheer2: (No bed bugs for us!!!)
The Children wanted to go swim before dinner so we went to check out the pool. Thank goodness it was clean!!!

We just went for some pizza for dinner and turned in early for the night!

Next up, Epcot and a Princess breakfast!!!

Joining in to read all about your Disney adventures.

First of all, what a cute family you have!

Second, is your husband absolutely nuts? Doesn't he know that the people on the Disboards know all things Disney?:lmao: Seriously, I look forward to hearing what he thought of the trip.

I know!!! I kept trying to get him on here!!! I think he will next time though.

cute family!!!! LOL! i would hate for my mom go disney without me!!! :lmao:
We haven't told the kids yet!! :rotfl:

We woke up bright and early to head to WDW so that we could get to the park of the day! My children were so excited and bounced out to the car just like Tigger!!!! Off we went!!! It wasn't long before we saw this:

Now, the kids are bouncing in the car and I am too! It is just a short drive to the hotel we are staying in and when we see the sign, a cheer goes up in the car because now we have arrived!!!!

I had ordered some wristbands for the kids to wear with my cell phone number on them. I just had one small problem! My DD doesn't like to wear stuff like that. Thankfully I had come up with a solution! If Mickey said it was a "rule" then she would! So, my DSD and I went in first to check in so I could get the wristbands set up! I asked a CM to present them to the kids and tell them it was a Mickey Rule that they ALWAYS keep them on! Worked like a charm!! Even better was that we got a guy who had on Mickey ears and hands to give them to the kids!

We left our luggage and went to catch our ride to Epcot!
IMG_3166-1.jpg

We rode spaceship earth first and my oldest boy was scared. He didn't know what it was going to do and didn't want to get on. He kept telling him it didn't go fast or upside down. Was this how it would be for the week? I wanted to pull my hair out already and we haven't even rode anything yet!!!! He did get on and then was embarrassed because it is a great ride and not "scary"!!!!

Here is my pic from the ride:

We headed towards Norway because we had a ressie at Akershus with the princesses!! We took lots of pictures with ALL the Princesses but I want to share this one with you.

Brenna's favorite is Belle and she was so excited to see her first thing!
IMG_3196-2.jpg

We rode a few more things and then we spotted Chip and Dale!!! Sawyer was going crazy for them and jumped in line to get autographs!
IMG_3383-1.jpg

While we were waiting, we decided to get a little snack to help us cool off. Since there was an ice cream cart not to far from C&D I went to get the ever famous, always delicious Mickey ears. My little girl was in awe at how big they were and that she got the whole thing!
IMG_3378-1.jpg

The flower festival was finishing up the week we were there and I got some great pics of it. I think this one is my favorite though.
IMG_3238-1.jpg

I got Bailey to pose for this one and then wrote a caption on it! Kinda fitting because it's about the only thing he will eat.

I think the highlight of Sawyers day was when these two CM's wished him a happy birthday and asked him if he had gotten his call yet. of course we had only been there for a day and he hadn't. So they took him to a phone and dialed something up. Sawyer was just smiling away.
IMG_3385-1.jpg

He said it was a call from Goofy singing him a birthday song. Totally cool!!

We stayed at Epcot until almost the end of the day but the kids were exhausted and wanted to go swimming so we went back to the hotel. When we got to the room, Mousekeeping had left a little something on the bed for us to discover!
IMG_3432-1.jpg

The kids just thought that was the best thing they had ever seen in a hotel! And it was a great way to end the day!:woohoo:

Up next, Magic Kingdom and sore sore feet!
