Thermostat reports

Just got back from a nine night trip - 4 at BWV, 5 at BCV. Room at night got very warm and stuffy at BWV, but maintained a constant temperature at BCV. Could not have done anything about thermostat at BWV using directions I printed out from these boards, as it was a simple slide mechanism type. Anybody else experience what we did recently?

We stayed in a 2BR at BWV in early May. We had the opposite problem! We like to use the ceiling fan at night and it took a few tries before we figured out where to set the slider on the thermostat before going to bed so that the combination of the AC and the ceiling fan kept the room at a pleasant temperature. The first two nights it got too cold in the bedroom during the night. But then, this was in May when the evening temperatures were usually in the mid to high 70s.
