You've probably mentioned this before, but is THV your home resort?
The TreeHouse Villas are part of Saratoga Springs and one of the reasons we bought SSR. I cannot imagine trying to get into the THV at 7 mos. 
I thought there were less than 50 even, not sure. All is know is I have 11 mos. access baybee! Don't be fooled by the DVC that I got.

We're staying at AKL CL. So excited. It's such a beautiful resort. After two stays last year at the Poly, I feel the need to take a break from the tikis.
Everything I have read about CL has been unreal. And CL is supposed to be quite difficult to get so and How many nights? Whose going? I am guessing next August as we are in September now. I know, I am super smert. Late Augusts would be great but 2011 is a really important year for Becci in school, she will be sitting her Standard grades come Apr'12 and missing any school in this school year would be a huge no-no. We could of course leave her at home to study whilst we're away gettin' our Disney groove on but I think that may be tantamount to child abuse

Early August may be it for us. If we could swing it, I would love to do early June (before Pop's Day) as the points needed are still fairly low. Those peak times are killer. 
Last year they said over 10,000 people tried. That's a lot so I don't hold much hope.
Aren't Bex and Gab the same age? I wonder if her missing school then will be bad too? I better do some research. I am a little worried about her missing a week next month but I figured 7th grade is porbably the best time to get a taste for how missing really effects them. I am already missing the days of pulling them and not caring.
I haven't completely decided if I am going to try for the panel but have been thinking about what I could possibly say in the essay. Wish they'd post the questions already.

I haven't updated yet. I hope to do it later but I'm doing a wedding cake this weekend which is proving to be a bit of a challenge. My 9" tin has just come out of the oven and it must have a crack in it because it's leaked cake batter and I have to redo that layer in another tin, add to that the fact that I've run out of caster sugar

Ya know with advice on the best place to get lit and scope hotties! I think Bex is a year older than Gabby. The education system in Scotland is pretty different from the UK so I don't know if taking Gab out of school would have such a marked affect. Once our kids hit their fourth year in secondary education they need to sit exams that establish their qualifications for employers and also determine how far they can go with more advanced qualifications that would get them into university or other further education so it realy is make or break time. This is another reason I want to go to WDW in 2011 because once Bex is back to school that year fun will not be a big part of life for a while and it might help offset some of the stress. I would love it if you came in early Aug but can definately see why the off-peak times are more attractive, personally I'd love to go in May/early June but that just isn't going to happen
Some wonderful teachers may but our system just doesn't allow it. I totally understand how you can't take her out. Early August will be fabulous and I am still not counting anything out! Oh the life of a multiple trip planner, how do I do it all?

Wow, that is intense for poor Bex! Our system doesn't generally take that much interest in our students and their future.
I'm sure Jo will back me up when I say there is a massive amount of pressure on kids in the UK to do well at school as there is so much competition for university places and they are always having it drummed into them that you need to do well academically to be able to get any type of job in todays employment market. It's sad because some kids just can't take the pressure and are being pushed in directions that they are perhaps not suited to. Becci's school is very academically competative and I think some of the parents really need to take a chill pill
