The motor for the power windows on Beetles all over the US are failing and so it is finally getting fixed - over a month after breaking.

Then they found out that it had another recall on it. So they are fixing that, too.

I do enjoy that Volvo, though.......

I'd take the Beetle, I love mine. I haven't heard about recalls though. Mine's a 2000, do you know if it's included? I haven't had problems with the windows at all. Hope yours is fixed soon!

Uh-oh. Ours is a 2000 also. I would inquire about the windows now. The other recall was an oxygen sensor.

I love the look of those bugs.. I think VW Bugs have the most personality!! I always smile when I see someone boppin' along in a bug. Hope yours feels well soon JTB.
