I dunno. That is why I took a photo and posted. I would have thought I would have seen that on the DIS. But nary a peep about it on the threads I read. I thought it was interesting for sure.

Thanks for reading !! I'm gonna guess you are a quilter. I so love quilting and I have made several. I haven't done it in a long time because the kids distracted me too much and I went back to work. Now that the kids are older, I'm wanting to get back to it. I have fabric and a design for a blue and white star quilt. Would love to get started on that.

Saturday, November 26, 2011 – Breakfast

We got up early again – about 6:30 AM – We had early 8:00 AM EMH. So I left DH to get the kids up and moving while I went over to the Bellevue Lounge and used some snack credits for breakfast.

I got DH and I each a chocolate croissant.

Sorry, I was hungry. These were so good with coffee in the AM.

I got DS a cinnamon roll

and DD some Special K.

It's Friday so that means Panera delivers to our office - bagels, pastries and fruit. I always start with a bagel and fruit, but if I keep looking at that post, I might just have to go see if there are any chocolate croissants left.

Every Friday ?? I would weigh 300 pounds. Seriously. I love those chocolate croissants. I couldn't even get a picture before I had scarfed half of it up. Sooo yummy !!

Yes, breakfast every Friday. And cake & ice cream the last Monday of every month. This is why I work out...although I've had my ankle in an air cast for 2 1/2 weeks now and can't work out. I've already gained 5+ lbs since the air cast went on.

We had a snack box at work. You know, one of those kinds where you use the honor system ?? I made them get rid of it. It soo was not helping me. I need to work out more. I understand about the ankle, I had to have mine reconstructed in 2006 and I was on crutches for about a year. 3 months prior to surgery and about 8 months after. It was horrible. And I gained 50 pounds. I've lost 20 just recently and after the holidays, I am back on that diet and working to get the last 30 off. I hope your ankle heals up soon!!

Lunch - Saturday, November 26, 2011

I was hungry and the fam was off doing other things so I grabbed a Fairfax Salad from Fairfax Fare.

I really like this salad as it has a southwest flair with salsa and crunchy tostita strips.

Oh, I got some carrot cake, too.

And later on, DH, DS and DD ate at

Backlot Express.

We grabbed a table since he was still in line to get food. While we were waiting I took more photos of DD’s face painting.

I just love her sweet little girl face.

And then DH came back with the food.

He got a salad.

And the kids each got Chicken nuggets and French Fries.

And for dessert DH got some turtle cheesecake

The kids had cookies.

DD and DS being silly. DS thought this up and I have to admit, it was pretty funny.

Dinner - November 26, 2011 - 5:20 ADR for Cape May Café.

My BFF and her DD were supposed to meet us there so we were looking forward to having dinner with them.

So here’s the deal about me and buffet food porn. I think it is intrusive to take photos of the food AT the buffet. It was pretty busy up there and I just thought it might be rude. And I kinda think buffet plates can be kinda icky. A glop of this, a spoonful of that. So I didn’t take a lot of food photos.

Overall, we really enjoyed this buffet. DH enjoyed the seafood and I enjoyed some of it, but there were some things I couldn’t eat because I am allergic to shellfish. DH and BFF said the clam chowder was really good and both went back for seconds. Besides seafood, they had a good many other things to eat that were very good. There was prime rib and BBQ ribs (those were fantastic). The bread was great and veggies were very good. I didn’t have anything that I didn’t like to be honest. The kids really enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. And here is a picture of my dessert plate.

Starting from top left … pumpkin cheesecake, raspberry cheesecake, key lime tart and oreo bon bon. All were amazing, but the pumpkin cheesecake was the best. Soo yummy. I got another one. So Cape May was a success and we decided we must return the next chance we got.

Breakfast – Sunday November 27, 2011 – Crystal Palace

We had an 8:05 AM ADR for the Crystal Palace.

This was the view from our table. Bridge to Adventureland.

Again, I didn’t take any photos of the buffet or our food, But we enjoyed it. For once the eggs were good. Everything I had was good. Mickey Waffles, Choc. Croissant, Biscuit and gravy, Bacon, Eggs, potatoes …..it was all yummy. We all enjoyed our breakfast and the kids enjoyed the characters.

This was our second time eating here and we really enjoyed it. After this trip, we decided that we would only eat quick lunches on our future trips since the TS breakfasts take up too much park time in the AM.

The kids wanted to ride the Tomorrowland Expressway, I begged off and went to get myself a root beer float.

Sooo good !!

That same day, we went to Cosmic Rays for lunch.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich for DH and I

It was icky. I had one bite and let DH have the rest. Yuck. The fries were good though.

The kids got Chicken nuggets.

I snagged a couple of the kids’ nuggets, so I was fine.

And we got some chocolate cake and some carrot cake for dessert.

They were good.

So while we ate, we listened to the linguistic stylings of Sonny Eclipse.

Which DD proclaimed “stupid”.

The food there is just OK. I would have rather eaten at Columbia Harbor House, but everyone else wanted to eat there. I have never eaten there at night. I bet it is cool.
