There was no threat of lightning so why was there a Hollywood Studios Bus at the BW?

A couple of days ago when I was walking past the Boardwalk Bus section I noticed a Bus which listed it's destination as being Hollywood Studios? Well I know that they would only have a Bus to and from there if the Boats are not running and I can say without a doubt they were since I saw them minutes before leaving my room and there was no threat of lightning in the area to stop the Boat service. So what other reasons could there have been to have that Bus over there?

Probably should have asked the bus driver....could have gotten the definative answer right then.

It was probably dropping someone off. Occasionally, if a bus is empty except for one party of guests, and those guests are late for an ADR or they were given bad directions by a cm, and the dispatcher has more buses than they need at a particular moment, they may give a driver permission to drop the guests at the resort to avoid transferring.

Or if it was in the a.m., it may have just been a marquee malfunction on a bus that had just come from DHS and was picking up for MK at the Epcot resorts. Sometimes the computer will change one marquee and leave the other one stuck on an earlier destination.

I also saw an Epcot bus at the Boardwalk bus stop on Dec 16th.I was asking myself the same thing.

I remember one time there was a long line for the boat after Fantasmic and they directed us to a bus. The boats were running, just a long line. So maybe they put busses on to help the boat line, especially now with Osborne Lights.
