There must be 8 day hoppers available still

I just got a strange phone call today from the travel agent at Flight Center who I booked my 8 day pass with. When I went in to book my 8 day park hoppers for me and my family a month or so ago now, it was during the time that the 8 day hoppers were being discontinued, and also FC was changing over their reservation system for them. My agent didnt know this was happening and was having issues trying to find the 8 day hoppers in her suppliers reservation system. So she called the supplier directly, and because they were still being advertized online, Flight Center was given permission to issue me 2 park hopper vouchers. One for a 5 day, the other a 3 to make up for the 8 days.

HOWEVER! I got a phone call today from my travel agent to say that they canceled my 3 and 5 day hoppers because they still had plenty of 8 day hoppers available and had to reissue me one of those. So I went down to the FC office and sure enough I was given an 8 day voucher. So anyone looking to purchase some 8 day hoppers I thought I would pass that info on to you. I am hoping I can be of some help.

...don't like that they "cancel" your initial purchase....makes me nervous about my 8 day ticket now...mine is electronic

I know I was looking forward to those two EE's but I had no choice. They canceled my 3 and 5 and issued me an 8 and told me to come get them. I complained and said that I was happy enough with the 3 and 5 but they were not giving me a choice. I dont really care. I am still getting an 8 day, but it was still a bit of a kick in the pants. But the good thing that came out of it was that there sounds like there is still some 8 day tickets left for other people who maybe looking for them.

I purchased my 8 day hoppers a few weeks ago, then last week we had friends decide to come with us in November. When they contacted flight centre, they were told there were none available at all anymore. They even talked directly to the agent I dealt with and another poster dealt with on here. They ended up booking a package deal through a travel agent in order to get 7 day hoppers. If this is true, this makes me slightly aggravated as our friends are in a different hotel due to the package they bought.
