There is NO random dancing at Disney! A June TR *NEW 9/19 *FINAL THOUGHTS*

Generally speaking Disney CMs are pretty good when it comes to lost children. I know I took my share down to Lost Children.....Still so scary. One time as a Disney Manager I had to stand at the turnstiles looking for a lost child to make sure no one took her out of the park.

The Beach Club.....nice:thumbsup2

Caught up again!

You guys lucked out getting to meet Marie! My girls would have stood in line for a very long time to see her!

Um, Wendell. He's a very frightening looking character!

I'm sorry your son was traumatized by Goofy's Barnstormer. You just never can guess how they'll handle rides they haven't been on!

I'm glad that lady found her child. That would have to be so scary!!!

Looking forward to the Kona review.

I have been out of town and getting all caught up. Here are my thoughts in no order whatsoever.

Dinner at Sanaa looks really good, especially the deserts! I am trying to figure out what day this way, because if it was on Tuesday, June 16th, then we were at the AKL at the same time as you! We had an ADR at Boma at 4:45 pm, then hung out for a long time at the resort. We got caught in the same rain storm. How crazy if we were there the same night?

Love the random dancing title so much! Those signs always make us laugh anyways, but now it is for a different reason.

The princess shirts looks really cute on the girls in the picture at Buzz Lightyear.

Isn’t it amazing how the heat totally changes your mood? Most of the days we were there were so hot, and I would go from happy to miserable in 5 seconds flat. I don’t blame you for not wanting to run all over TSI on that day! Love the pic of Ian from behind on the bridge!

TSI. My DS7 loves that place. We didn't mention it this trip so I think he may have forgot about it:rolleyes1 Splash Mountain:woohoo: Love that ride, but Ian definitely could not have handled that "down.";) I'm glad the missing child story had a happy ending. Thankfully my kids are pretty good about not wandering off. I'd imagine that is one of the scariest feelings in the world. Looking forward to more!

We will definitely have to make time to let the boys explore TSI. It looks like it would be alot of fun.:)

I'm so glad that the missing child was found!! How scary that must of been for that poor family.

You met Marie...what character mojo!!!! That is awesome I would love to meet her someday!

Awwww...love the pics of your son at POTC! Glad you were able to get a stroller and work that all out! I have been on TSI once and I really enjoyed it...but it is something I will wait until I have kids to go back on it again!!!

I have been loving your updates...can't wait for you MK evening!

All caught up. That whole missing child thing terrified me. Guess that's why I'm sticking to one kid :rolleyes1

My heart is still returning to normal... ugh! Scariest feeling EVER when you lose sight of your kids. Demetri is a bit of a wanderer himself, he sees something he wants to look at closer and he just goes, doesn't think anything of it. Thank heavens your story had a happy ending!

:rotfl2: We have never been to TSI but we are going for sure this time and will be sure to take a map. Did he stop for directions?

I'll see your pics from home, can't wait!

Ive loved reading your TR so far! You have a beautiful family! I am onboard... and I promise no random dance moves from me while I take the ride with ya! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Last year on our first family trip to Disney, this is what my DD (7 1/2 at the time) had to say about Goofy's Barnstormer: "Too long a wait for too short a ride". Guess I should mention she's a roller coaster junkie - we had to move on to BTMR to satisfy her.

Love your trip report title and am enjoying reading your report!

I too have fond fond memories of TSI. And a recollection of an amazing picnic lunch there but now I think they just have snacks at Aunt Pollys (seems to me I had friend chicken!).

But it is one of those places that seems to reflect the heat and if it is hot out, like AKL, it is hotter on TSI than anywhere else in the park. It will make you wilt, and quickly.

We didn't make it out there this last trip, defintiely zero interest from the tween and teen. Maybe next time!

I am SO glad the missing child was found quickly. It is heartstopping!

Hopefully you were able to get your ADR moved and have some cool down time!

TSI looks like a lot of fun! I must, must, must take the kids there sometime!

That poor woman -- losing a child at Disney has got to be the worst feeling EVER! I am so glad she found him!

TSI is wonderfully themed. Definitely worth a raft ride across the Mississippi.:)

I've heard that too, and he was found fairly quickly in my perspective. From the parents' perspective it probably felt like forever!

Amelia was quite happy to meet Marie. The first guests to arrive at the character spot completely ignored poor Marie in favor of Goofy and Donald, but my kids were happy to give her some love.

Yep, Sanaa was on the 16th!! How funny is that? Isn't the lodge gorgeous? Yea, the heat was a big energy sucker at times during this trip. Oh, and welcome home! How was your trip?

You know, my perception had been that the big "down" was the very end of the ride. I was so surprised when it didn't end right away. Ian wasn't quite tall enough to ride anyway, but yea, he would NOT have liked that down!

We will definitely have to make time to let the boys explore TSI. It looks like it would be alot of fun.:)

I'm so glad that the missing child was found!! How scary that must of been for that poor family.

Your boys would really like TSI, I'm sure. Caves, abandoned mines, forts with guns, rickety bridges, BOY HEAVEN!! :rotfl: And girl too, for that matter. I loved it as a kid.

Hi Jen! I'm glad we decided to track down another stroller too, because Ian really needed to nap after all of the TSI exploring. Our magical Magic Kingdom evening coming soon!:goodvibes

Definitely easier to keep track of.:thumbsup2

Oh my. I can't even imagine losing a child at Disney. How terrifying. :scared1:

ITA! Been there, done that, never again.:scared1:

My heart is still returning to normal... ugh! Scariest feeling EVER when you lose sight of your kids. Demetri is a bit of a wanderer himself, he sees something he wants to look at closer and he just goes, doesn't think anything of it. Thank heavens your story had a happy ending!

Stop for directions?! And admit defeat to perfect strangers?

Aww, thanks.:goodvibes And welcome. Glad to have you aboard.:thumbsup2

That's pretty accurate and exactly how my oldest feels who's also a roller coaster junkie. It was perfect for Amelia and too much for Ian! Thanks for reading along.:goodvibes I love to read responses from anyone brave enough to read my ramblings.

Oh, a picnic on TSI would be awesome! I agree with the heat over there, but the cave sure felt heavenly.:cloud9: I was right there with that poor momma. Amelia disappeared for a few minutes at Typhoon Lagoon when she was 5 and I've never been so scared in my entire life!:scared1:

Subbing! I just read everything so far and I love it! I remember Splash Mountain being my favorite ride when I was very young, and it's still stuck with me :)

Great Update!!!! We got wettest on SM when another log game down the hill and the water splashed us. So we were wet at the beginning. That was surprising. :rolleyes1

Also, I don't think they do FP for HM any more??? I thought they got rid of that.:confused3 Maybe I read that wrong.

We did so many of the same things that day. We must have passed each other.
Can't wait for more. :surfweb:

Oh look. It's the map.

:rotfl2: :lmao: Those expressions look like they sum everything up nicely. :rotfl:

Splash Mountain was the perfect ride to go on after TSI and your little dude did well taking a nice nap. :thumbsup2

I'm all caught up thanks to your handy links! I'm loving your trip report so far.

I feel like my DD is a giant because she just turned 3 in May and is already 39.5 inches tall.

I can't wait to hear about your magical evening!

Oh great update!!! I just LOVE Splash! Seems like the afternoon went well for you all! TSI was fun for us as well, we went our last day at the MK...
I can't wait to hear about dinner!

TSI is one of the things I am really looking forward to this trips. I dont know why we have never done it, but we will fix that real soon.:thumbsup2
