Poor Hannah thought we were leaving.

'I want to see the castle! I don't want to go home!'

Is it just me? ...I don't feel it is "fun" to see kids having tantrums or obviously being upset or being sad.



Sorry, I just feel sad for them because WDW is supposed to be a happy place and a fun experience.

I think it's just nice for parents to see that our kids are not the only ones who have their moments. You can't force the kids to be happy all of the time just because they are at Disney World. And lets face it... some kids are darn cute when they're crying. This is just meant to be a lighthearted, fun thread - obviously I'm not asking to see pictures of kids that are hurt or seriously upset.

I love this thread. These kids are very cute whether they are crying or not. Great pics for blackmailing them when they are teens LOL Also may be a deterent for those who dont have kids yet. LOL Maybe these are the things they should show in sex ed. classes instead of how things work--definately would discourage quite a few from taking the risk.

Besides I agree with Lyzziesmom not all kids can be happy all the time and as long as the pics dont show them being hurt they are cute pics and would give a chuckle to anyone whose kids--- have been there done that. SIGH--glad to know I am not alone...LOL

Eh it doesn't bother me, it's all part of the Disney experience. Heck, I have even had meltdowns in the parks before. I wish I had a picture of when we went to DL and DS knocked over a whole display of rubber skulls and the theatrics that took place after. Every day around the same time he had a near meltdown that we named the 12 o'clock willies. We learned to plan around the willies and to use some bribing tactics. We still talk about it and laugh and this was nearly six years ago.

Me too...you should have seen me Dec 05 when my rechargeable batteries for my camera didn't work....I was flipping out, ready to cry ...so now, before we go into the parks the girls always ask me, "Mom, are you sure your batteries are working"


I see nothing wrong with this thread...it just shows that sometimes happy children get tired....

My DD (then age 3) had a huge melt down outside of Mexico in Epcot in Dec. 1998. It was too close to nap time. I should have known better than book our meal that close to nap. I don't have any pictures, though. I didn't think about taking pictures at that time.

This thread is too funny! Thought I would share a couple. In the first one a CM thought it would be cute if DD sat in the pooh's for a picture. She didn't think so!

The fireworks were going to start, and we wanted DD to sit down. She didn't want to, as you can see!

i dont have a picture to post but this past trip i did cry my eyes out at the magic kingdom at the end of the night after realizing we had lost our camera with 500 pictures on it

Oh no! I would have cried too. I lost my camera last year in Epcot, but I realized it a few minutes later and went back. It was gone. A CM saw me running around frantically screaming, "it was right here!" and he asked if I lost a camera. I described it and he went into a back area and came out with my camera! In the five minutes it took me to realize it was gone and come back for it, someone had already turned it in. I hope yours turns up!!
