There is hope when your Banned :)

A few nites ago I was banned. There are 2 sisters whose names I wont mention, that constantly harrass me when they see me. You know the type right? I've reported them several times before but nothing has been done.

Well 2 nights ago they came at me again. Sweet and I were playing pirates and they found us, started their games, then reported ME for harrassment and I was banned. I got a message from vmk regarding harrassing other players. I went to contact it told me the reason for being banned. Naturally I wrote thru contact and explained what happened. And I also sent a message to the operations manager.

Next morning to my surprise I was able to sign in to vmk. I got an email from VMK_Shorty saying they reviewed my ban and it was lifted.

I just wanted to let you know there are happy endings. Vmk Shorty took the time to read my email which I appreciate. As for the sisters, well I'm hoping he did the right thing there to, but.....for now I only know Im happy to be back in vmk.

well congratulations on being unbanned rob. staff should review the situation before you are banned. A real bad thing about banning is if your in a room and someone says somthing inapropiate or against the vmk values a warning goes out to the whole room, once i got a message saying if i do anything inapropiate again i will be banned i did'nt even do anything.
well congrats again on coming back and im sorry about hearing you got a 24 hour ban

Congratulations on being "unbanned", however I have to say if moderation was handled correctly there should have never been a ban in the first place. In my opinion every report of improper behavior should be revieiwed BEFORE a player is banned...

OMG Rob! I havent been on too much lately and didnt know! Sorry to hear about that! I know who you are talking about and have seen them. They are pretty annoying and don't stop. Glad to gear it all worked out!

Glad to hear your ban was lifted! I think it's terrible that they just believe someone without further investigating it. Makes me wonder how many people have been banned for no reason at all! Scary thought!

I agree. If they would review what the issue was, I'm betting more often then not those reporting the problem would be the ones that end up with the ban. Sadly they don't look into this and the innoncent person ends up with. Glad you got it lifted. To bad they don't ban the 2 harrassing you though.

Yea that was a total unfair ban, which I think was meant for her not You because she clearly came at us, up on our backs barkin out things and I'm glad they saw that.

Anyways those girls are something else.. I thought it was funny though when after Rob used On for One
She says " I just GLOVE when people use proper words in Vmk
Then goes on to say Con.sir.in for Concern ROFL
What a Hypocrite (rolls eyes) idk maybe its those green flips they wear that makes it ok

So you go to the vmk homepage and it says what emergency is ok to use the call staff button and harrassing is one of them. You can't even say harrass in vmk and when you do report you get the use the ignore button or leave the room. I don't get it, but I do agree with Rob Vmk_Shorty props to you. Anytime I've had issues or have written I've gotten an email back the next day and not one of those automated ones. So ty

Your absolutely right. Its a shame they cant review the chat before they actually ban. I knew I had done nothing wrong though.

Well <3......if I would have kept my mouth shut like you asked me to it wouldnt have gotten as far as it did. But Im tired of ignoring, tired of leaving a room because of them. Comes a time when you have to take a stand and say "ARG for the glove of Gad get away from me" lol

Thanks everyone for your support. It only ended up being about a 45 minute ban after all Thanks to vmk shorty.
