There Is Hope For July

My sister received the same e-mail yesterday. It looks like we may be able to save about $200 for our June 29 - July 5 trip.:banana: We called tonight - the PIN is definitely attached to her specific name, address, etc.
 
Well.....here is part 2 of my journey to use "MY" pin code. As my previous post states I received a pin code for july. I called and gave my code the other night and was told it wasnt a valid code for July. That it was for jan and feb . OOOkkkkkk...its only may and they are trying to tell me its for Jan/Feb. I explained over and over exactly what it said. After 45 minutes I was advised to fax my email over to "Mimosa" the supervisor. That was a couple days ago. Yesterday I called back and was advised "Mimosa" would def. call me back later that day. Day came and went and no "Mimosa" :rolleyes1 . I called AGAIN tonight....explained everything that went on in the last conversation. The cm was great. Said I see your code. It was a 15 digit number code. He says thats the *** code and tells me the three Letter code they give it. I think great FINALLY I'm getting somewhere. He has me read the dates off mine yada yada yada then says thats a code for Jan/Feb. :scared1: OH Great here we go AGAIN. I told him nope no Jan/Feb dates on my email... They are July dates on my email.

So after another 30 minutes of being back and forth on hold and supervisors etc. I was asked to fax the email over AGAIN !!! :scared: and told to call back tomorrow. Does it make sense to anybody that I would be getting a special code for over 8 months from now? Then he says...they codes not even any good to use yet because its for Jan/Feb and its too soon to use it and then says the code expires sometime this month. Sooo its too soon to use it because we are too far out but it expires at the end of this month??!!

I hope you all are having an easier time applying it then I am....sheesh
 
We got the pin in an email. We are staying off site this summer. It has gotten too expensive to stay onsite being a family of 6. It is our 10 yr. anniversary. ME and DH are trying to plan a vacation somewhere to celebrate. We might look into using the code and going twice in one summer. We have never been away with out our 4 children in the last 8 1/2 years.
 
Well, I called Disney and tried to see if I had a code or pin attached to my name. No such luck. She said she found some old offers attached to my name but they had expired. That really ticked me off 'cause I call constantly to see if I have a code/pin and have always been told no.

The representative did ask me if I had a code, it would be a three letter code. That's the same thing that one of the previous posters said she was told. It's making me think that maybe a general code will come out soon.
 

I have a question that I am hoping someone can answer. we are going 7-2 thru 7-6 and recieved a pin code offer via email. The offer ends 7-3 and starts again 7-6. Shouldn't I be able to post at least a couple of my days to this offer or is there a restriction on the amount of days you have to stay during the time of the offer? (or am I just desperate and grabing for anything I can? ):scared: Anyone have any ideas? :confused3 Always get the run around from CSR at disney so I don't know if I should try it or wait to see if an AP rate comes out.
 
my ta just called me. i did get the pin code, she has called 3 different disney reps so far. the first 2 had no idea about a pin offered during my time. the third said well, i can apply the pin, but then she can't have the free dining...i'm going in july. when asked if i was eligible for free dining, she said, oh sorry no, i meant she coudn't have her photopass with this pin code (then apologized for the confusion and said she just got new glasses). i'll give up the 15.00 picture to save 225.00 at por. she is calling back again right now. i'll update once i hear back....update, all is taken care of, she called and got someone very nice who knew what she was talking about. code is attached and i still get my free photopass picture. when asked if i would have to give up my photopass, the cm just laughed and said no, where did you hear that from? i worked in a call center for years...shouldn't there be some kind of uniform training? You might want to keep trying calling until you get the right cm to help you
 
OK we have a AAA ressie for TG week. I called last week b/c we got a PIN. The CM saidbno need for the code on those days. Now we got another email with the info I gave the CM with a PIN. I'm about to call back.
 
I got a code I can't use-15 numbers. was told only certain dates and not in july... have called twice
