Back from a magical stay at Fort Wilderness in the Cabins. Had a wonderful time there. Housekeeping perfect, restaurants wonderful.

Only disappointment was when we went over to Ohana's for dinner. They took away the salad. They no longer also have chicken skewers. They changed the noodles ... Lily wouldn't eat them and they were her favorite food!!!

Very very disappointed. We will not be back.

Highlight was breakfast at Trail's End!! Jeanne said she would drive two hours for that breakfast any time!

Sorry to hear about Ohana. I am canceling our Ohana ADR for coming trip... without salad and chicken, is no go. Trail's End is on my bucket list. We seemed to always stay either at BC/YC or AKL or Poly, Trail's End seems like a hike. I'm so glad that you are having grand time with Lily and Jeanne. Some picture update soon?

However, I just booked another stay at YC for our Sept trip: 9/23~9/28. Would you be working on 9/28, Sunday? It's our departure day but we would love to see you.

We also just canceled our O'hana reservation for our upcoming trip!

I knew that the Marketplace used to carry Babycakes treats. Do they still have them/will they continue to carry them?

We canceled o'hana also due to changes. No salad and no chicken...that was one of our very favorites too.

I just booked another return trip to YC on our last minute trip to celebrate DS's birthday. We will be there 9/23~28! I've been looking at AP discount rate and no Standard/Garden view rooms were available for my dates. If I played with my dates and did a split stay, it was available but I really didn't want to move around on such a short trip. But this morning, when I checked, YC garden view room opened up and now, it's official that we are staying at YC for our surprise birthday trip.

We are going the same time as you, except checking in on the 24th instead of the 23rd, and we booked the 30% off room only discount for the general public. I went to check the AP website and there weren't any YC rooms available with the AP discount. But at least I've got 30% off.

We'll both have to make a point of visiting Teena on Sunday before we leave.

We always go to Trail's End for their breakfast buffet when we are staying at the WL. We love their breakfast and dinner buffets. We went to Trail's End for dinner when we stayed at the BC last March, but it was a bit of a transportation nightmare! In fact it took us about two hours via bus and boat. I don't recommend trying to get there from an Epcot resort.

No salad?!? We ate there the beginning of June and they still had the salad, but also brought out a sample of lettuce wraps, which were quite good. I agree that overall, it was not as good as in the past

Deluxe, Moderate, Value or Holiday Inn, people should be courteous. I've found no correlation between money spent on a hotel (or vacation or restaurant or . . .) and people's behavior.

Sadly yes.. I have heard people yelling at CM's with the line "Do you know how much I am paying for this room...I expect ...."

yes, we are all paying ___, but we somehow manage to keep it together!

Then we have the Frozen package at Hollywood Studios on Saturday and will be at that park all day.
Sunday is morning at Epcot with lunch at Norway and then home to rest.
Monday we check into the Grand Floridian!!!

Thanks for the info on Ohana's dinner! I've been debating between trying breakfast or dinner when we go there next year and it seems breakfast would be the better choice.

Teena- Princess Lily is adorable! I have a little princess her age who loves Disney and can't wait to go back

Let us know what you think about the Frozen package. I have it booked for next month, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or not.

I was just notified that our magic bands have shipped!! I am over the moon! Last night I bought ds the disney infinity game and he can't wait to use the band to unlock the special character!!

My question is other than the bands is there any other communication I should be looking for from YC or disney? We are staying in a garden view room for our once in a lifetime trip!

My first set of bands just shipped, too! (We are doing a split stay and will get two sets). Can't wait!!!

We also were disappointed with our 'Ohana meal this past May trip. It was our 4th time going but I don't think we will be back. But they did have salad and chicken when we were there.

I had the best dinner at BOG last year - shrimp and scallops and the best ever strawberry cupcake.

I've been also looking for 8/24~28 at BC/YC but no go. We will be arriving around 10pm at the resort on 23rd so we just need somewhere to crash for a night. However, this is last minute trip, I am happy with what I got especially during F&W festival. Hope to see you at YC!!!
