There is a First Time for Everything! A June 2013 PTR!!! EXCITING NEWS 4/2!!

Just think, you get to plan the trip again! ;)

We will be at BCV from June 16-22 and then at BLT from June 22-28.

I am looking forward to seeing your updated plans.

:thumbsup2

Here is our agenda for each day! I am currently listening to Sorcerer Radio and being inspired by The Magic, The Memories, and You and Wishes! soundtrack! I hope what I write makes sense. I have this all on a spreadsheet at work (which I forgot to print…and I will admit, my co-workers really make fun of me for keeping such a detailed spreadsheet :rolleyes1) So, I am doing it most from memory! Enjoy and as always suggestions/comments are appreciated!!!

Monday, June 17th

-Arrive in Disney around 2 p.m. :cheer2:
-Check in at hotel (which **hopefully** our room will be ready!)
-Unpack/Shower/Relax
-Head to Contemporary Resort around 6:15
-Dinner at Chef Mickey’s @ 7:35
-Go for a ride on the Resort Monorail (the kids are dying to go on the monorail! :yay:)
-Head back to the hotel and go to bed

I am a little nervous about having too much going on this night because we will be driving all night/day on Sunday and Monday. I discussed it with DH and he was all for going to dinner this night. Also I wasn’t sure what time to leave POR to get to the Contemporary for our ADR. I am sure leaving at 6:15 will get us there really early. Any suggestions?

Tuesday, June 18th

-Wake up early and leave by 7:45 (taking the bus for our transportation this morning)
-Head to MK for Rope Drop (as of now MK opens at 9)
-Hit all the big rides that we want.
-Quick Service lunch at either Pecos Bill’s or Columbia Harbor House
-Early Afternoon-Head back to hotel
-Relax around the hotel.
-Me and Kaz will head back to MK around 4:45 and head directly to CRT for our 5:45 ADR
-Andy and Sam will lounge around and basically do whatever they want until 6ish and then they will head to DTD for their ADR at 7 at Fulton’s.
-After me and Kaz are done with dinner we might walk around for a little bit then we will head back to the hotel. I am sure we will all be very tired from an early morning!

So, do you think this will be too busy of a day? I am very used to being on the go go go. Kaz is pretty used to my ways too lol. I am more worried about the boys which is why I gave them a later ADR so they could relax more at between the parks and dinner. I am very excited for Kaz to meet the princesses. I have a feeling this will be a big highlight of our trip! Also, what QS do you suggest for our lunch?

Wednesday, June 19th

-Wake up early and head to AK for rope drop (AK has early EMH this morning so the park opens at 8)
-We are focusing on doing the Safari, FOTLK, the Finding Nemo musical, It’s Tough to be a Bug, & Dinosaur
-Quick Service lunch at Flame Tree or Pizzafari
-Head back to hotel in the early afternoon
-The rest of the day is open to whatever. I don’t have any ADR’s so we might go off property for dinner. I really just want to explore the resort and possibly head to other resorts to explore!

This day is really up in the air for me. While I think we would have a blast at AK, I am not sure it is worth it to go. We are not getting park hoppers(unless I absolutely feel like I should, then I will upgrade when we get there) so, I really don’t know if we should just go to Epcot instead. I know our family would like to explore that park more than AK. I think we are just going to play it by ear! What to do you think?

Thursday, June 20th MY BIRTHDAY!!! party:

-SLEEP IN! I know we will be exhausted from touring the parks the past 2 days!
-Slowly get up and maybe go to DTD for lunch(I originally had an ADR at Kona Café for breakfast, but I think we are just going to have a lazy morning!)
-Basically this morning/afternoon is open for anything fun! Me and Kaz might go to MK to meet some characters but other than that NOTHING!
-Head to MK around 5:30 or 6
-Dinner ADR at BoG at 7:15(SO EXCITED! :woohoo:I definitely picked this to be my birthday dinner!!)
-After dinner we plan on staying to watch MSEP, Celebrate the Magic, and Wishes!
-Head back to the hotel afterwards and go to bed

I am so excited for this day. I have always dreamed about being in Disney for my birthday and this will just be perfect! I am just so blessed to be spending it with my 3 favorite people! I really have nothing bad to say about this day! Let’s just hope no one is cranky and we all are well rested.

POR is lovely, you'll love it - it's like being in a Disney movie, there are bunnies everywhere! Can't wait to hear your review of Be Our Guest! :)

Friday, June 21st

-Wake up at head to DHS for rope drop (as of now, DHS opens at 9)
-Our main objective in the morning is to ride TSM and get fastpasses for it! Also Kaz really wants to vist One Man’s Dream to learn about Walt’s life. She did her first ever book report on him! (very proud step-mom right here!)
-Lunch at Sci-Fi at 11:00
-Head out the park early afternoon.
-Relax and Swim at the hotel
-QS dinner at resort
-Maybe head back to DHS around 7:30 for Fantasmic at 9
-Head back to hotel to rest for our final day!

I am pretty confident with this day. On Touring plans and Easy WDW, DHS is a recommended park, so I am hoping it’s not too bad and we can at least go on TSM once! Any suggestions?

Saturday, June 22nd

-Depending on what we did on Wednesday, we will either head to Epcot for rope drop, or sleep in and slowly get up.
-We plan exploring Future World first thing. I know the kids will like Soarin’ and Test Track!
-QS at probably Sunshine Seasons or maybe, just maybe somewhere around WS!
-Head back to hotel in the afternoon to relax
- Head back to Epcot probably around 5:45-6
-Dinner ADR at Le Cellier at 7:20 (so excited to try this place)
-After dinner we are going to stroll around the world and watch Illuminations (I have never seen Illuminations before……:confused3….crazy? I think YES!
-Head back to the hotel to sob in our pillows because it is our last night!!!

This day really depends on what we do on Wednesday. But other than that I think it is good for our last day. Sam is super excited to walk around WS and see all the countries. And I am super excited to ride Maelstrom and get some school bread! What do you think about this day?

Sunday, June 23rd

-Basically this day only consists of us waking up super early and driving a long boring drive back to Northwest Indiana :guilty:

Thanks! I am so excited to stay there. It seems like POR has beautiful grounds and I just can't wait to explore them! I have stayed at POFQ before and absolutely loved it! I am so excited to eat at Be our Guest!!! I will definitely give my full review in my TR :)

Caught up! I think your plans look great, but girl, you can't skip Animal Kingdom!!!!! (And that was my two cents. Hahah.)

Thanks for reading it :) I know it's not a very exciting PTR but I just love your ideas and suggestions on everything. :) I know we shouldn't skip AK! I know the kids will want to go to AK! So we will do it :) They absolutely love animals of all kinds and beg to go to the zoo, so I really think they will like exploring AK! And I really wanna do It's Tough to be a Bug! But...I just reallly want to get to explore world showcase more in depth! I keep having to tell myself not to be an crazy planner but I just wanna go, go, go all the time!!! What do you think about all the rest of our plans?

I totally understand. I'd LOVE another day at EPCOT, but know we have to see AK with the kiddos. They will love the safari so much, that we have to go. :) Do what is best for your family!

We are doing the same thing at HS. Toy Story Mania is THE ride of the trip for my son (or so he thinks, since he's never been there). So, we have to go there first thing and then get a FP for later. Twice is a must. Even if we have to wait in line, he wants to go twice. :lmao: There aren't too many other rides at HS for them, since we aren't doing roller coasters, so I think spending the extra time at TSM is ok. :) Again - do what they want! :goodvibes

Aww it was fun to read! Hahha sorry I didn't before but I'd be happy to share my insights...

I don't think you have too much planned for Monday night. The resort monorail loop won't take too long and it's so much fun!

I mean, I'm more of a 'go go go' person too, so your Tuesday plans don't seem too busy to me either. :thumbsup2 But if yall get tired, that's the good thing about being on property! And you don't have to do everything on your list either... ya know? As long as you get to your ADRs it should be okay!

For Wednesday... Animal Kingdom!!!

For Thursday, YAY FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!! I've always always always wanted to spend my birthday at Disney, you're so lucky! Ya know what's funny? I once spent YOUR birthday at Disney... and it was my first day ever at Disney! Hahha. That day sounds so great and fun!

And your Friday and Saturday plans look good! Sunday doesn't look so good though... you should probably just stay. :lmao: Hahaha but yay! Only four months!

Wow. It's been over a month since I have updated with anything! Sorry! But I have some exciting news! only...

99 days til we are in Disney!!!!

:cheer2::cool1::banana::yay:

Finally we are in double digits my friends!

I have been watching so many youtube vides the last few days to fill my need for disney! With spring breaks starting, I have sooo many friends and family members who are heading to Disney! I am so insanely jealous. But I keep telling myself in only 99 days I will be there!!!

I have finally gotten everything paid for, including hotel, tickets, food, and I have budgeted our driving money as well as spending money! So everything is set and ready to go! Now we just have to wait!

I ordered some pins and lanyards on Ebay last week and we got them in.

The Minnie Mouse one is mine, Marie is Kaz's, and Jack Skellington is Sam's. I have never pin traded before, so I am really excited to try it out!! :)

Other than all of that, everything is looking so good for our trip! Now we just have to play the waiting game!

In the meantime, is there anything out of the ordinary that you all bring with you to disney? Like organizational things or something to help with the heat? I am starting to put together a list of things to take and I don't want to forget anything important! All your input is so greatly appreciated! And as always, Happy Planning! :wave2:

I have some exciting news!! Since the new discount offer came out today for rooms and tickets, I was able to snag a room at....
