There has to be more to the story...

Looks like DCL has 11 ongoing suits. 42 total since 2002. That doesn't seem too bad considering the exposure they have.

I think journalism as a whole is not even close to reality based, factual information. WESH an WFTV are in competition with each other but somehow seem to share the same brain and information source. It would be so nice to see a news report that had actual fact and not conjecture and "alleged" information.

I agree. I'm getting real tired of the half stories that are put out. Theres 3 sides to every story, Person A, Person B, and what actually happened. We usually only hear 1 side of the story.

This is what I tell my kids about trying to discern the facts of day to day life situations, whether in the media or in dealing with friends on a day to day basis. It seems to be working so far.

I was on a charter fishing boat off the east coast, exiting the cabin, the boat hit a wave, I had my hand on the door jam for support, the door slammed shut and broke a finger. It would have been worst but it caught part of my wedding ring to prevent it from closing on all the fingers.

I just read Disney's answer to the lawsuit brought for the man with the severed finger. You'll be shocked...they denied any negligence and wrong doing. Unfortunately neither the plaintiff or the defendant give much information regarding extenuating circumstances that might have caused this, though Disney claims he failed to seek timely / adequate medical attention and that a 3rd party was really at fault here (the wife that slammed the door on his finger...that's not what it says, but that's my speculation...she got pissed and slammed the door). More to come I'm sure.

Seriously? You're on a multi ton vessel in the middle of the ocean and now you're worried because of a cabin door? You probably shouldn't read my post earlier where I shared the story of breaking my finger on a lounge chair at Satellite Falls.

Great, now I cant open the doors or sit in a lounger. Gotta pay $10,000 to sit in my room and have the room service bring me food and the host/hostess bring the food in when they come clean so I don't have to go near that evil door. :crutches:

This is exactly why I cant afford 3-4 DCL cruises a year are these idiots that can't take responsibility for farting in public.
