OK Super planners, here is a challenge for you!

Can anyone suggest a one day touring plan for the Magic Kingdom at the HEIGHT of summer crowds, that hits all the following attractions/events between the hours of 2 and 11 p.m.? I thought we could get a break and maybe run onto a Fastpass attraction during the 3 p.m. parade, without having to use Fastpass, but which one? Which ones should we use Fastpass for? In what order? There may even be two Specto parades, we'd sit and watch the last one and ride things during the first one.

I know it can be done! :woohoo:

Things we want to do, in no particular order:

Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Stitch
Monsters, Inc. Comedy Club
Winnie the Pooh
Philharmagic
Teacups
Haunted Mansion
Big Thunder Mountain RR
Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Caribbean
Spectromagic
Wishes
Dinner at Cosmic Ray's

Please, no lectures about how we shouldn't even try. We have good reasons for being there at that time of year and at those hours.

I'm no expert, but I'll give it a shot ;)

Best bet is to make use of the fastpasses. For example, grab one for BTM when your first get there, they go fast and while you're waiting go on HM, Philharmagic, etc, basically anything over 20 minutes I usually opt for fast pass. Try Fantasyland during the parade, usually a little less crowded.

I found that Pirates was ridiculously long wait (but it had just opened the week before when I was there), but even with that it was pretty good during Spectromagic and Wishes.

Good luck!! :wizard:

I can't give you a good touring plan because I don't know the actual showtimes of spectro or wishes, but I'll give you some tips:

- Do fantasyland during the parade
-Use Fastpass for pooh, jungle cruise and big thunder, not the others (haunted mansion, and phillharmagic don't really require fp)
-Only use FP is it can save you more than 30 minutes
-Do the transit authority when you or your family need a break
-Do monsters inc, jungle cruise and pirates towards the end of the nights when guests with kids have left.

Remember, make your priority's of what you want to do the most for each family member, and then do the other stuff afterwards if there is time left. It will be difficult to do so much on such a crowded summer period when its hot and you have to deal with big crowds (especially with children)

Try this - in this order. May involve A LOT of walking, but I tried to minimize as much as possible:

1) Get FP (if any available ) for Winnie the Pooh
2) Haunted Mansion (continous loader- will probably have both stretch rooms)
3) Pirates of the Caribbean (another semi continous loader)
4) Philharmagic (can take A LOT of people at each showing)
5) Use previous FP for WTP
6) Get FP for Big Thunder
7) Jungle Cruise (crowds begin to thin in late afternoon skip to between 13 and 14 if wait time is more than 30 minutes)
8) Stitch (lines have become really short for this one)
9) Dinner at Cosmic Ray's
10) Monsters, Inc. Comedy Club (I Guess)
11) Spectromagic (assumes late parade?)
12)Teacups (crowds thin in the evening for this one)
13) Wishes
14) Use FP for Big Thunder Mountain RR ( I like this one at night)
15) Tomorrowland Transit Authority (you can do it earlier, but we always do it the last thing before we leave - it's a perfect end to the day)

Good Luck !!!

I wopuld suggest this order:
1. Get a FP for Pooh as you arrive.
2. Watch Philharmagic (if the line is longer than 20 minutes wait till later)
3. Haunted Mansion.
4. Avoiding the parade routes head to Pirates and ride (hopefully this will be during the parade or just as it ends)
5. Ride pirates- does not have FP and line may be up to 1 hour plus in length.(this should be around 4pm when you finish)
6. Get a BTMR FP.
7. Ride Pooh on FP- you may have to move this until whenever your time is for.
8. Ride the Teacups.
9. Do Stitch or Laughing Floor- the shorter line.
10. Eat Dinner at Rays (should be about 5:30)
11. Do Whichever attraction you skipped in 9.
12. Ride TTA.
13. Watch Philharmagic.
14. Ride BTMRR on FP if they are ready.
15. Head to Jungle Cruise (this should be durring the first showing of Spectro). Jungle Cruise is much better after dark and adventureland clears out much better.
16. Find a spot to watch wishes.
17. Wait until the wishes crowd clears a bit and find a spot to watch the 10pm showing(guessing it will have 2 showings in summer months with late nights).

Here's what I'd do. But its FP-dependent. Hope there are some there for you.

1pm - Get fastpass for BTM railroad
1: 20 Do Haunted Mansion
2pm - get FP for Pooh (if possible)
2:30 - Philharmagic
3pm – get FP Jungle Cruise
3:05 – Ride Pirates
4 - Stitch
5 - Monsters, Inc. Comedy Club
6 - Tomorrowland Transit Authority
6:30 Dinner Cosmic Rays
Ride – (1 hour)Teacups during first parade
2 hours - Ride –FP-Big Thunder Mountain RR
-FP-Jungle Cruise
-FP-Pooh
Work in 2nd Spectromagic and Wishes, according to schedule (get seat 45 minutes ahead of time)

Not a suggestion for what order to do them in, but TTA will probably have the shortest wait throughout the day, so maybe try to hit it when everyhting else seems like a long wait and you are waiting for a FP time? :confused3 Also, as previous posters have mentioned, POC and HM are continuous loaders so should move relatively quickly (key word relatively ;) ) and Philharmagic has a large capacity. Just things to keep in mind. Also, the UG would say that because of the type of ride teacups is- it stops running, unloads, reloads, then runs again - it will be a slow mover.
Good Luck!
