There Go My Wishes!

When I moved into my new house, I could stand on my front porch and watch "Wishes" from the Magic Kingdom each night. They've started building a house across the street. It will be too tall and I won't be able to see the fireworks anymore. I asked them not to build it, but they just laughed at me! Wouldn't you know!

Hey lemon aide time here,,, Make good friends with your new neighbors, that way you can both watch the fireworks from thier back portch yuo get a new friend, and get to watch wishes from a few hundred feet closer to mk

That's a bummer. Did you know before you chose your lot that you would be able to see Wishes and Illuminations from your front porch? Was the lot across the street from you already sold when you picked out your lot?

JK1, I had no idea when I chose the lot. It was just a pleasant surprise.

FroggyinArk, that's a great idea! I will try to be very pleasant when my new neighbors move in!

I shouldn't complain, I really have it great. If I want to see "Wishes", I can just drive the 10 minutes to WDW to watch it. I'm very lucky!

Feralpeg, we are also building a home in Windermere. We chose the lot for the backyard exposure to the the skies over the MK. We are keeping our fingers crossed for Wishes everynight. If that comes true, you are welcome to come over!

ok with all these dis'ers moving to windemere i just wondering when we are going to recieve our invites for the spare rooms,, surely with this many disers in the central fla area we should alll 68000+ be able to find "spare room" accomodations now

How about you trade houses with your new neighbors? LOL Just tell them that you want them to feel so welcome in the neighborhood that you'd much rather see them move into a house that is already "settled".
