There are some sick people out there! (vent)

I read this story in my local paper this morning and I have to say that it's one of the most disgusting, not to mention saddest, things I've ever read. It's about a man arrested here in Florida for having sex with a puppy. Yes, a puppy. I hope they throw the book at him.

I'm an animal person. I don't have a bunch of pets or anything. Just one cat. But I like animals and hate when people treat them badly just for the sake of being cruel. I feel bad when I see strays or even dead animals on the side of the road. Raccoons, armadillos, what have you. Yet I understand accidents happen. But people who treat animals badly just really piss me off.
