TheNeverEndingPTR! Sept2010...no, November...WAIT! January?Ugh. maybe September 2011!

Yep, 3 days a week is the plan- I definately need it!

Your plans look great! I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us to see lots of WS. :goodvibes:

Hey Karen! I was reading allearsnet yesterday, and someone had done a blog about a fantastic looking vegan meal at Ohana (the meat emporium) of all places! Well, it made me think of you and I realized I hadn't been over to your pTR in a while. What a bummer about Rey not going on the trip! But I understand about finances - he's just being a good and responsible provider! I'm glad your friend decided to go - it sounds like that has put some pep back into your step!:goodvibes

Hey Rebecca! Yep, we actually went to Ohana on our last trip, but the only ADR I could get was on a Saturday night and Chef TJ, who makes the awesome meals there, doesn't work on Saturday! Argh! I got a nice vegan dish, but it's the standard dish they give out there. I knew it was a big possibility that he wouldn't be there, but I hope that some other trip we take that I can go on a night he works and get the royal vegan treatment! :goodvibes

You've got a lot of Epcot left to do! I sure hope you fit it in!

Again, big thanks for doing my research for me. Where do you even find some of this stuff? I didn't know who was at each country, and definately not what times they perform!

You just reminded me I need to get back to reading that trip report of yours. I am not anywhere near the last day yet! In fact, I think you just had little alcohol-cured-breakdown. It's bookmarked at the top of my page, so my browser knows where I am, even if I am not sure.

Glad to see you back in the planning mood!

HA! The alcohol-cured breakdown was on my first trip...did I have one on my TR for October too??? I wouldn't be surprised!

I learn most the things I know right here on the DIS board! For times I went to Steve Soares site: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/

Well, I did not go back to look, but it is quite possible that you were just re-telling the story of your first trip while telling the story of your october trip! I definately read something about it though and thinking, oh that's what she's been talking about!

We love Epcot in general and WS is awesome! We always enjoy going there. I worried that my kids were too young to like Epcot but I think it's becoming a favorite for the whole family.

What to do, what to do???? I'm totally undecided about our last full day and departure day!

This is Friday, October 1st. We will be going to MNSSHP that evening, we can arrive at 4pm. Initially I had us going to F&W opening day when Rey was coming, but really have no interest in hitting the crowds when he's not coming and I think they will have the soft opening on Thursday anyway.

I had us going to DTD and eating lunch at Earl of Sandwich on Saturday after sleeping in from the party and packing up, BUT, that means we will be leaving no earlier than lunch and maybe that is a mistake with how far we will have to drive. We're going to drive all the way home, straight through!

So, maybe we should do DTD on Friday before the party, have lunch, swim, and then head to the party. My only worry is that we will have lots of extra credits and possibly an extra CS and I was planning on using that to get stuff for the drive home. I don't think I can get a sandwich on Friday mid-day that is going to last until Saturday afternoon.

Maybe we'll just have to get Food court stuff if we have extra credits on the morning we are leaving. We will be able to have a nice CS breakfast and then load up on snacks we have leftover and leave.

BUT...I'm also tempted to do a favorite day and let the kids pick one park to visit Friday morning (no hoppers) that we can go to before the party. I bet they wouldn't all agree though...maybe it's best not to do this.

Argh...I'm so undecided!!!!

M.A., you are going on this trip, I SUPPOSE you could give me your input on our last day. :lmao:

How early does Earl of Sandwich open? Could you do an early lunch?

Since your trip is almost planned, wanna help me plan mine????:lmao:

I'm guessing it opens around 11am when the rest of DTD opens (or 10:30).

Oh Amanda, you don't want to open that can of worms, do you???....*runs off to see what you have planned that I can stick my nose into*

I'm so stressed out between no power and work that I'm having trouble focusing on my Disney plans!!! I'd love help!

Amanda

Karen, FWIW I vote for DTD on Friday with the big CS breakfast on Saturday. When I decided to do AK in two days I lost my DTD the morning of the party and I miss it!

Amanda, I'm off to stick my nose in your plans too! LOL

Karen, are you getting a fridge? If so, I don't see why you couldn't pick up a sandwich at DTD on Friday and have it last until Sat. Afternoon - even in a cooler it ought to last a day - just leave the condiments on the side.

Rebecca, we will be in a Family Suite, so we will have a fridge! I didn't really think about it, but I guess you are right, we could get our extra food and put it in there! :thumbsup2

I'm leaning towards DTD on the party day only b/c I think it would be really pushing it to go to DTD on our departure day and then drive 17 hours straight. We would be zombies by the time we got home! :p

My vote is for DTD the morning of the party. Stock up on snacks at the CS in the resort and Goofy's for sweets. Eat a big breakfast to have a great meal in your bellies before you drive home! :thumbsup2 Plus, if you DTD on Friday, you can sleep in before the party that evening. :goodvibes

I'm the odd man out because I would want to linger in disney-ness for as long as possible! So I would go to DTD on Saturday morning...17 hour drive is going to be awful no matter what, so might as well make some good from the day! BUT, I completely do think it's a good idea to go the morning of MNSSHP, I just wouldn't make the right decision haha.

Oh! Why did I think you'd switched from the suite to a regular room? Were you thinking about doing that?

Yes, we were thinking about changing but when I called up they said there were no regular rooms available (with my pin) and so when Rey decided not to come and M.A. and Ella joined the cast, we just decided to keep the suite for the 6 of us. :)
