Themeparkland/flightshop in closed down

Perhaps just lucky, I dialled just before my post at 1.30pm held on for around 10 minutes or so then it began to ring for another minute or so. Keep trying, but the call costs will soon outweigh the discounted tickets!!!
 
I was also promised a phone call but it didnt happen after all. In the end I was told the woman doing the tickets is unavailable and she will phone me, but hang on I said you dont even know my name!!Anyway Virgin have said they will price match Ive moved my balance from Barclaycard over to Lloyds so now I can buy again from Barclaycard and get myself well and truely in debt and very confused as well
 
I know it is no consolation to you all but we ordered ours from TICKETMANIA on the 20th june they arrived yesterday with full front and back photocopies of all tickets. They send you one copy and retain a copy in their offfice in case tickets go astray.
For service and value I would not hesitate to reccommned them.

Hi All!!

Just a quick update on this nightmare!

Received my letter from ABTA today saying that because I paid by credit card, ABTA are not able to deal with my claim, but my credit card would refund me.

So I called Barclaycard (again!!) Remember they told me that they wouldnt cover attraction tickets? Well I quoted them the script from the ABTA letter and they now say that they will look into it!! But they said "its not at all a quick process". They are going to send me a claim form today.

My other problem is that I actually ordered from Theme Park Land twice. The second order was paid for by my bank debit card (as it was a price-match-promise and Theme Park Land said if I paid by credit card they would charge me 1%). My bank wont cover this amount of £240. So I've had to call ABTA again, who sound very confused that Ive ordered twice. They say "someone will phone me back".

We'll see. Ho-Hum. C'est la vie!!

And then I see that Virgin Travelstore are closing!!!

I'm really considering the www.onlineflorida.co.uk one now. They are cheap, and ABTA bonded (although what difference does this make!!).

I cant wait to post a thread saying IVE GOT MY TICKETS!!!

Still waiting on my letter from ABTA and I've heard claims through your credit card can take a VERY long time. Oh well, maybe the money will be credited in time for next year's tickets! With interest? I don't think so!! Am going to go with Keith Prowse for new tickets - was going to go with Virgin Travel Store!!!!!!!!!.
 
Whats his about Virgin closing I just re ordered mine with them am I going to loose out yet again??
 
No, you won't loose out. Virgin have decided to close the Virgin Travel Store. They have not gone bankrupt, just decided not to accept any more business. Anyone with exisiting bookings with the Virgin Travel Store will have travel arrangements fulfilled.
