We are taking a 7 day 6 night MYW vacation in October with Park Hopper Passes. My question is this, When it is paid off, (end of this month) how long do I have to wait to get the tickets sent to me? Some have said that they will not be sent until a few weeks before the trip. That is awful! My family and I are sweating bullets waiting for this to get paid off in the hopes that we would get the tickets and stuff.

Also, what all will be sent? Tickets, etc...?

If this is a "package" deal, I believe you get your passes when you check into your resort. Never having done a package, I'm not sure. Can someone clarify? ~:)~

I've done 2 packages in the last 4 years (not a MYW package - yet! :D ).

About 2 weeks before the trip, we received our e-tickets for the flights and the vouchers for the transportation, room, and tickets. WHen you got to Orlando airport, you exchanged the vouchers for the Mears tickets to get to the resort. When I checked in at ASMu, I exchanged the voucher for our room and our 2 UPH passes (which are also your room key).

So, unless the MYW package is different, you probably won't get the travel info until September.

If you purchased a package, all travel documents are sent about 30 days before arrival, but park tickets shouldn't be given to you until you checkin.

Just called Disney yesterday. She told me that I wouldn't get anything but a confirmation letter before we arrive. No UPH tickets, room cards or vouchers for any of it. I didnt ask about air travel or ground transportation vouchers or tickets because I am purchasing those seperatly from my resort stay. Cheaper that way.

They have to encode your room key especially for you. Resorts don't get the copy of the reservations until approximately 5 days before you arrive. Then a person whose job it is to assign the rooms does so. Your room could be assigned 5 days in advance, or not until that morning, depending on your requests and what you have available. When you check in they give you your room assignment, assign your tickets to your room key and charging priveleges, if you desire. That room key will serve all of those functions for you for the entire trip. If, for whatever reason, your room key gets demagnitized, you will have to return to the front desk of your resort to get a new one-- No charge.

1st - Do we get to keep our room keys as small souveniers?

2nd - Our DS2 will not need park tickets or anything for that matter because he is too young. But can I ask for another room key for him so I can put it away for him?

Part one---yes, we have many!

Part two--- not sure. You will need to ask at the front desk when you check in.
