Hope nobody here is affected

Wow! We've always bought our tickets through them. Hope this doesn't affect anyone here.

We had loads of trouble getting our tickets from this company this time last year, we finally got them after countless emails and phonecalls 2 days before departure. From what I understand from reading other forums, other people were still being treated as shabbily as I was up to last week and many had asked for refunds.
It's so sad that hundreds of people have saved and saved for their Disney and Universal tickets and instead of looking forward to their holiday, they now have another worry as to whether they will get any money back.

Never used them myself, but sorry to hear this as many people will be at WDW attempting to use tickets that may not be valid.
I think (hope) once you have your tickets/vouchers they are valid as paid for. It's those whose tickets have not been dispatched who are going to have their work cut out for them. And let's face it, Disney tickets are not cheap. Take a family of 4 with ultimate tickets. That's already pushing £1,000!!!! The trouble is, for those flying out in a few weeks, they won't have time to go through the process of claiming their money before they depart.
My friends who are at the parks now have confirmed that the tickets they have that have been refused at the park gate were from Themeparkticketsdirect.
Imagine arriving there and not knowing about all this! I'm not happy now. One of our UK DISer's tix just arrived from there a week or so back and I think they just left for WDW. I hope they got their tickets sorted before this whole fiasco. I would have thought that if you have the tickets in your hand it's because they have been bought from Disney, and paid for, then passed onto you.
I can see problems happening when vouchers are sent that you are then expected to exchange at a ticket booth, but don't know what method this comapny used.
