Theme Park ticket transfer question

I'll try to ask this without it being too confusing to understand. We had a trip planned for May 2020, but due to Covid, moved it to May 2021. Now we have two that can no longer go, and one person added. The two that can't go have 4 day tickets. The one added needs a 6 day ticket and another person in our group needs a two day ticket. Is there a way to transfer a person's four day ticket between two people? Each getting two days? I have a feeling the answer is no. And if you cant, do tickets expire? I know I should know this, we've been going for years, but along with many things in 2020, we've never had this issue.

only some types of tickets have expiration dates. Otherwise they are good u til first use then have the terms and conditions associated

no, 1 ticket cannot be split across 2 individuals. One of the 4-day tickets can be upgraded to a 6-day ticket. You’ll have to decide whether to use only 2 days of the other or purchase a separate 2-day ticket and hold onto the original 4-day ticket for another time.

Most tickets are now date-based, and have a specified start and expiration date. You mentioned these tickets were purchased for last May, which leads me to believe they have likely been extended to 9/26/2021. If not used by that date, the ticket retains value towards a future ticket.

You would not be able to use 2 days and keep 2 for much later. A 4-day ticket has a 7-day “use window.” So the extra 2 days will be lost.

Really good point, thank you!! Didn't realize they would be counted toward using two days, makes sense.
