Fun thread:earboy2:

Peter Pan
Jungle Book
All the princess movies
Winnie the Pooh
For my 14yo son-- Pirates of the Carribean

Before going on our WDW vacation last May, I did a bit of a Disney movies marathon ::yes:: I re-watched most of my favorites (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Wall-E), but also caught up with a few of the ones I'd missed the last few years (or decades) and watched Tarzan, Tangled, Ratatouille, Princess and the Frog.

Now it's been almost a year since our lovely trip, and although we don't have any firm plans are thinking of going back in 2016, I keep thinking I should watch a few movies again  I have many on DVDs that I bought in the early 2000s when Disney released most of them for the first time on DVD (and they suckered me into thinking it was the chance of a lifetime to buy all of them THEN, you know "before they go back into the vault" :rotfl2:)

We had what my kids called Princesspalooza in the weeks leading up to our most recent trip. Watched every Disney Princess movie in chronological order. The other ones that get me in a WDW mood are The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Fantasia.

Besides the movies (which we watch just about all of them in the weeks before our trip) I also like to listen to Disney music from my own collection or on Pandora & Spotify.

The songs get me really excited for WDW and I can do other things while listening - important stuff like Disboards, packing, shopping for WDW trip supplies, constantly re-checking for coveted ADRs and boring my husband with all the minutia of our upcoming trip.

Watch this whole set...

Fun thread!

I watch most of what was already said by others. So I'll add:

Summer Magic
Lady and the Tramp

Both remind me of Main Street USA, my favorite place in all of WDW. :D

What, nobody mentioned frozen? They are renaming WDW to WDW presented by Frozen.

I like Swiss Family Robinson, Pirates, Aladdin and Lion King...

We are doing themed movie nights every Saturday leading up to us leaving...

Toy Story 1&2
Lion King & Beauty
Pinocchio & Tangled
Cinderella & Robin Hood
Aladdin & Ariel
Pirates 1 & Peter Pan
Snow White & Brave

I am going to watch Peter Pan...haven't watched it since I was a kid (so probably 25 years or more), and I plan to do the ride for the first time NEXT week :))) )so soon!), so I want to be able to appreciate what I am seeing. I personally am more inclined to watch YouTube videos of people walking into MK for the first time, meeting Mickey, surprising their kids with a Disney trip, etc to get me excited for Disney haha

Any suggestions on how to track down a copy of Beauty and the Beast? Amazon only has it for $115(!!!!) and neither iTunes nor DisneyStore.com has it in stock. First time visit with a five year old who wants to know about Belle! Thank you!!

You can always find copies on EBay.
However, next year will mark the 25th anniversary, so there may be a special edition coming out soon. Until then you could always try borrowing it from your local library.
