We are going this Friday. We usually stay on site but this time we have free lodging off site and will need to drive to the parks. In the past we parked at TTC but is there parking at the individual parks? How much earlier do we need to go to get there from Kissimmee?
Thanks-

Parking is $8.00 per day. Hold on to your receipt and if you park hop you can get into the next park for free.

Yes there is parking at all the parks. If you are going to park hop park at the park where you will end the day.

The ONLY park without it's own special parking is MK. So you'd have to go to the TTC to get to MK.

In other words, TTC Is the MK parking lot.

One story told is that Walt wanted all guests to begin their Disney day by taking a futuristic monorail ride or a relaxing ferry ride away from the real world (freeways and parking lots) into his magical kingdom. So the parking lot was intentionally positioned about a mile from the park.

I can strive for excellence -- or I can do a whole lot of good.

This is true. When we went in 1974, there was a miles-long approach off 192, then a tram from the parking lot. Then the monorail. Finally, the park. Getting there was really half the fun. Once inside, there was no Space Mountain, no Thunder Mountain, no Splash Mountain, no Pirates. No fireworks. No parade. My photographs from that trip consist of the cars on the speedway, and Snow White posing out front.
After the arrival, our day's highlight was stopping off at the CR lobby and hearing a mariachi band echoing through the lobby.
Today's angst about ME means half the fun of getting there is gone. OK, there are some people who get turned on when they see the entrance signs. They don't know the half of it.
