Theme Park Parking Question

We will be arriving for a short stay at OKW for 1 night only. Obviously we want to make the most of our park time. We will be driving in - can we head right to a park and park for free before checking in at OKW if we show our reservation confirmation printed off?

Maybe, but if not just take your parking receipt with you to the OKW check-in desk and ask them to credit your account for the parking fee.

You can also go straight to OKW and check in. If they don't have a room for you, they can still give you all of your stuff, and text you when there's a room assigned to you.

I think that Hollywood Studios is going to have to upgrade their parking situation once Star Wars section opens.

I'm pretty sure you need to have your parking pass from your hotel. Usually check in is a quick process - especially if your room isn't ready.

I went straight to the parks one trip and couldn't get a refund. Just my experience.

If you do the online check in prior to arrival it'll be a breeze at the hotel. I would do that and have my parking pass in hand before I chanced it by going to the park first and hoping to get credited.

You know you can just get up earlier and then return to Old Key West for everyone and everything after you check in.

I think checking in first is the best option even if it's just to pick up the proper documentation.

My view is even if you have to pay for parking that first day it's worth the $15 parking fee just to get to either spend an extra hour in the park or sleep an extra hour.
