Theme Park Parking Lots

How long after park closing do the parking lots stay open? I'm thinking about driving to AK and parking in the lot using my personal car. Then hopping to MK for MNSSHP via Minnie van then taking MV back to my car at AK. Is this possible?

The parking lots never close. After a certain time they no longer staff the toll plaza but the lot itself is still open.

They will tow your car at one point in the night. I had an emergency and could not drive my car back to the hotel. A GR CM had to drive me to my car take a picture of the front and back of my car send it to someone then drive me to my hotel. I would dibble check before leaving your car after hours for that long.

Wouldn’t it be easier to park at MK, go to AK, and then end the night back at MK where your car is parked? You can still use a MV either going to or coming from AK without worrying your car will be towed. I would probably use the complimentary bus transportation going to AK and use the MV coming back for the party.

IMHO, it would be more convenient to bus to AK and then MV to MNSSHP and then back to your resort.

We always park near whatever our last park will be and use Disney transportation to move around. At the end of a long day, I want my car near by.
