ORLANDO, Fla. -- Delta Airlines has launched an investigation into the possible theft of a North Carolina man's remains from checked baggage at Orlando International Airport.

Lee Pavao was visiting family recently and traveling with a small white box containing his son's ashes.

During his travel, Pavao said he is convinced that the only time anyone would have had a chance to open up a suitcase and then a briefcase inside where the remains were located was while he was waiting to board his plane at OIA, Local 6's Mike DeForest said.

"We've been taking a lot of time to go through and scatter my brother's ashes who died suddenly in all of the places he loved," family member Sara Sidders said

Question is.. were they partially scattering the remains at Disney?

I would think if it was a Place he loved.

DD has direct written instructions on where and what place to scatter mine in WDW. HM will be the best as they may never get cleaned in there and only added to.
