Well of course you had problems if you were in JAPAN dining from the restaurant in CHINA...they had to run 1/2 way around World Showcase to place your order and run 1/2 back with your food! LOLThe first entry in the Yuck Factor! Here we display any bad Disney Restaurant experiences, a restaurant that was just simply bad, bad service or any other "Yucky" experience you've ever had at Disney food area.
And our first Yuck entry is...
Epcot's Nine Dragons Restaurant, located in Japan!
My first trip to Nine Dragons will be my LAST. For one, the service and cooking was so slow that I could've stopped by Magic Kingdom, went on a couple of rides and still be back in time for the appetizers. When the time came that we got our food, it wasn't great and was slightly burned. I personaly never want to go there again.

Our biggest yuck was the pizza (i can't remember the name of the place) by toy story toy store. Does this make any sense? The first entry in the Yuck Factor! I'm interested as to what you consider English food, meat and two veg can't be that bad. Fish and chips? The Rose and crown is about as British as pizza.
Our YUCK award goes to the Liberty Tree for dinner....nasty food, green beans so hard they could've been used as weapons. just icky "American cuisine" I thought was a can't miss. Mostly non exisitant character interaction saw them as they wizzed past the table for their break. A huge waste of time and money IMO.... go figure I'm the picky eater I loved Boma and hated Liberty Tree.![]()
Hmmmm.... I've had GOOD experiences at some of the restaurants mentioned in this thread (Boma, Garden Grill, and Chef Mickey's, for example). However, I'm surprised Sci Fi hasn't made it on here. LOL!
Sci Fi has to have the WORST food in WDW. Just awful! I ordered the ribs and, despite NOT being a picky eater in the least, I couldn't get 95% of them down. BLECH!!! So Sci Fi gets my Yuck Award.
I also deem O'Hana breakfast as possibly my second runner up. COLD Mickey waffles, wet scrambled eggs.... bacon as hard as bricks... UGH! Good thing Lilo and Stitch were there. LOL! I'd maybe give it a second chance, but never for breakfast. Ewwww.....
Restaurants we will not go back too
Jiko
Mama Melrose
Brown Derby
Boma
Nine Dragons
Ohana's (dinner, unless someone would REALLY want to)
Le Cellier
as this is our first WDW w/ actual dining...
But most of these are restaurants that get many rave reviews on this board!
Makes me realize...
1--everyone has different opinions
2--anyone can have a bad experience at any restaurant, depending on variables, particularly servers (former server here!)
3--anyone can order an item that just doesn't hit them, at any restaurant
Funny, I am trying to think of a restaurant in my past (anywhere) that was so horrible that it was memorable, and I would never go back to...
1--Circus Circus buffet in Vegas (think mess hall...with marginal food)
2--Spago in Vegas...it was OK; for such an upscale place we were really expecting to be WOWed. No reason to try again...much better places to eat.
(ordered meatloaf--NEVER order meatloaf at a restaurant! My mom makes a BBQ type meatloaf, and they are always tomato-y at restaurants..NOT what I am used to!)
