The Young Avengers: World Tour (YARP Part 4)

June: She sat, playing with the noose that would be used to eventually hang Gordon. Thora: She was gently creating an electric current between her fingers, so she wouldn't accidentally do so during the play and blow out all the lights. Gordon: He was doing his makeup and slicking back his hair. He was actually doing well at it.

OOC: Tell me if this is ok or not;

Valery: she went to grab her book bag when she saw Laura doing something and tip-toed quietly. Was that... Electricity?? Huh. She walked past her and got her bag.

OOC: It's fine.

Thora: "Hello, Valery."

OOC: Soon as Olivia comes back we can start I think. I have the lyrics for every song.

Mine: They finished getting ready

OOC: So, yeah, we got creamed in softball, we got mercy ruled, but I only struck out once and only walked like two batters (which for my pitching is great) and had some good plays at first so... eh. Could someone catch me up pretty please?

OOC: Sounds like you did a good job in a bad one

Now prepping for the show

Valery: "Hey Laura! Excited for the play?"

Thora: "Oh definitely. And my brother's girlfriend is coming to see it, it will be the first time in like two months that he gets to see her."

Gordon: He was in costume and makeup.

June: She went to see Conrad. "You look like an old man."

Valery: "That's cool. My parents are coming, and I haven't seen them for a while. Will your's come also?"

Thora: "I don't have a boyfriend, or a girlfriend for that matter."

Hope: "It's perfect, thank you."

Mike: It was quiet again, he looked around, but there was nothing. He narrowed his eyes, but still nothing. He turned and walked away.

OOC: That is morbid/macabre

Evelyn: "You're welcome." She finished getting ready.

Jay: He popped his head up like a groundhog and peeked out. Phew. Jay explored a little more and then got ready for the show.

Valery: "No, silly, I meant your parents. Or parent, I guess."

Thora: "I'm not sure. My dad and his girlfriend might be here. Not that I want them to be here."

Nancy: "Why not?" She had a pretty good idea of who Laura's dad was.

OOC: Sounds good. And you'll definitely need to guide me because I haven't seen Phantom in a long time and only act one.

Clint and Natasha: They found a spot in the audience near the back not to draw attention.

OOC: Would they join the fight, or not to avoid getting taken by the government.

OOC: Depends on how you want to play it. Avoiding getting in trouble with the law is reasonable but so is making sure Raven doesn't die.

Raven: "Places!"

Raven: "Places!"

OOC: Alright. They'll probably fight and help Raven just trying not to pay attention. What would happen to them? I've only seen the first few episodes of SHIELD. I figured Natasha would get in deep trouble, Clint not as much but still some. But they must be forgiven in they fight in Avengers 2, and is Hydra still in the government?

Jay: He felt proud of passing Mike. Jay went up to him and started to chuckle.

Evelyn: She got in her place, super excited to begin.

Thora: "We don't really talk."

Tony and Pepper Stark: they sat next to the Bartons near the back.

Valery: "That's too bad. I need to go now, the play is starting. See ya later," she said sprinting to the stage for the first scene.

Phil: he sat in the audience.

Eli and Nancy: they were ready to go.

OOC: Yeah, I really don't know. Nothing's seemed to happen to Clint, no one talks about him.

Mike: "What did you do? You know what, never mind, I have to go." He got off stage.

The show started with the prologue, the auction.

OOC:

AUCTIONEER: Sold. Your number, sir? Thank you. Lot 663, then, ladies and gentlemen: a poster for this house's production of "Hannibal" by Chalumeau.

PORTER: Showing here.

Lot 664: a wooden pistol and three human skulls from the 1831 production of "Robert le Diable" by Meyerbeer. Ten francs for this. Ten, thank you. Ten francs still. Fifteen, thank you, sir. Fifteen I am bid. Going at fifteen. Your number, sir? 665, ladies and gentlemen: a papier-mache musical box, in the shape of a barrel-organ. Attached, the figure of a monkey in Persian robes playing the cymbals. This item, discovered in the vaults of the theatre, still in working order.

PORTER:Showing here.

AUCTIONEER: May I start at twenty francs? Fifteen, then? Fifteen I am bid. Sold, for thirty francs to the Vicomte de Chagny. Thank you, sir.

RAOUL:A collector's piece indeed . . . every detail exactly as she said . . .She often spoke of you, my friend ....Your velvet lining, and your figurine of lead...Will you still play, when all the rest of us are dead?

AUCTIONEER:Lot 666, then: a chandelier in pieces. Some of you may recall the strange affair of the Phantom of the Opera:a mystery never fully explained. We are told, ladies and gentlemen, that this is the very chandelier which figures in the famous disaster. Our workshops have repaired it and wired parts of it for the new electric light, so that we may get a hint of how it may look when reassembled. Perhaps we may frighten away the ghost of so many years ago with a little illumination, gentlemen?

OOC: I guess we'll keep them low until movies or tv tell us more info. Poor Clint lol. He only had 12 minutes of screen-time in Avengers too. But he'll have more in Avengers 2.

Jay: He waved off to Mike and went onstage and preformed. Jay loved being in the spotlight.

Evelyn: She waited backstage, silent with everyone else, but excited and bouncing inside to go on.
