Hey Z!!! Another TR! Well, glad everything finally worked out at check in! I've never tried renting points. So what did you think of OKW?? That seems to be the place we stay most often. The size of the villas is just terrific! We're usually a party of 7 or 8, so the space is really appreciated! It's quiet & still close to things. However, I just stayed at BWV for the first time! I think I've discovered a new favorite place!!

Glad everything with the DDP was worked out. Great night at Chef Mickey's, I had this one my list for August but I am not sure if we will be able to fit in.

It was good and I wanted to go since I had changed going here in June at the last minute.

I'm glad everything worked out! When you were saying you had a business transaction, it sounded like she was your dealer.

LOL I know! I just didn't know how else to explain the whole renting/buying DVC points to some unknown person and tried to make it as short sounding as possible.

Thank god it all worked out! I am def going to email the DVC people we rented from. We rented them a few months ago so its been paid off and I know the ressie has our name on it, plus we have a contract. Still I think they were under the impression that we can add the DDP when we get there because they usually do- so I am surely going to inform them! You may have saved our butts on this one, so thanks! Looking fwd to the rest of your happy trip!

A lot of DVC owner's are under that impression. I'm sure everything will work out for you. After my 2 experiences with DVC I definately know what to ask and do on future ressies.

It was a pain, but it was better than paying OOP for our ADRs. CM's was fun and I got to meet my Main guy again.

so glad it worked out. I love Chef Mickey's but have only gone for breakfast but still love it.

I was not too impressed with OKW when I stayed there. Not very Disney to me. Just my opinion.

Yeah, wasn't feeling OKW much either. I've been to the real Key West and this was ok and wasn't too impressed by it.

For some reason OKW & SSR always has rooms, guess 'cause it's so big. It was ok, but I liked SSR better and not in my top 10 of the resorts. Oooh BWV.

As we’re walking out of Chef Mickey’s I hear the BOOM BOOM of Wishes going off. I ask a CM if it’s possible to get up to the roof near Cali Grill to see Wishes without an ADR and he said yes and directed us towards the elevators. So we headed the way he directed and got into the elevator only to see that you needed special access to the top floors. Great! As we’re going up a lady that’s staying in the hotel accesses the “special” floors, I think they’re the concierge rooms, so we just stay on and ride along with her. She gets out on the 11th floor and I quickly punch the number for the 12th floor and up we go. We couldn’t actually get to the roof because we got in an elevator that only went to the 12th floor , but oh well.

Anyhoo we got out and headed towards the big window side that the monorail goes through facing MK and we saw what was left of Wishes.

After Wishes I suggested hopping on the monorail and taking a ride on it. We got to see the Electrical Parade from the monorail and got off at the Poly because I was jonesing for a party in my mouth to start my own Lapu fest since I was missing Lapupalooza. My friend Isis and I headed up to the bar next to ‘Ohana and ordered up two Lapus, and we ended up getting the last two pineapples they had left (good thing it wasn’t Lapupalooza night or we would have been SOL).

Even one of the tiki guys partook in some Lapu deliciousness.

After our delicious Lapus we called it a night and jumped back on the monorail to CR and headed back to our room. I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow, ‘cause I was TIRED (not because of the Lapu, but it did help) since I hadn’t gotten any sleep since I had worded the night before. It was a nice way to end our day and we had a full park day tomorrow.

And I agree with Lessa. They either need some serious stocking up of the pineapples or get some really cool take home glasses!

I just hope that they have pineapples next December. I am totally getting myself a Lapu, it is pretty much the official Focker drink now.

Here's my theory, I think that because they're pretty pricey that not that many people are going to order the drink, so they don't plan on selling out of them. The Poly apparently hasn't heard of the DIS and certain DISers love for the Pineapply juice of the gods.

Firstly I'd like to apologize to everyone for not updating lately. The Holidays kicked my butt and my DIS time. I promise to do better soonly. I hope everyone's Holidays were great and that the New Year bring much happiness!

Tuesday August 14th

We woke up pretty early the next day, even though we were still tired we made it to the bus stop and waited for our bus.

We didn’t wait too long and soon the Epcot bus came and we were on our way! We wouldn’t make park opening though because we were on the slowest bus ever. We did get there right as park opening ended though and flocked on over with everyone else to Soarin’. The FP line was ridiculous and already at 2pm, so we decided to get in the standby line, which had a 20 min. wait time; not bad, so we braved it and were soon ready to board, front row too!!

After Soarin’ we headed to TT and Mission Space to see which one to FP and the wait times. Well MS had a longer wait, so we FP’d that one and got in the 15 min. standby line for TT. This time there was no breaking down of TT and we were soon test crash dummies for Disney.

After TT we headed over to Nemo and Turtle Talk with Crush and laughed our butts off. People were in true form this time. When they chose the kid to ask about their parents and the parent got interviewed, he played along great with Crush using Turtle lingo and everything. When the audience participates like that it makes the show more fun.

We were doing well with time, but we were all starving so we headed over to Sunshine Seasons to see what they had. Nobody was really feeling the food so I suggested the Electric Umbrella. Isis and I enjoyed our chicken fingers, but my friend Yani and her BF had gotten burgers and were not too happy with them. I’d never eaten at EU, so I really didn’t know what the food was like. Apparently the burgers suck though, so I don't suggest eating that there.

After lunch it was time for our MS FPs; Isis and I took the chicken side, while Yani’s BF went on the spinning side. Yani doesn’t really do thrill rides so we gave her all our stuff while we got our ride on. After having experienced the Intense side of MS in June, I really didn’t want to try it again, especially after having just eaten. Luckily, the less Intense side wasn’t bad at all and just as fun.

Having finished the FW side of Epcot, we were ready to travel around the World.

First stop, Mejico!

We hit up the Three Amigos ride and this time it was a bit louder than the first time I had ridden it in April. Of course I’m one of the few who actually enjoys this ride, but then again I’m biased. Isis hit up the Margarita stand and we shared the delicious frozen goodness. Mmmmmm

As we sipped our ‘Rita we strolled on over to Norway. Did some sightseeing and took some pics.

We finished off the ‘Rita and went off to travel back in time on Maelstrom. The wait wasn’t too bad and it was a good way to cool off because it was starting to get hot by this time.

As we left Norway on our way to China I hear someone calling me by my full name.
All I could think of, was who's calling me by my full name, and actually saying it right?!
