"Unskinny Bop" by Poison

"Unskinny Bop
Just blows me away
Unskinny bop, bop
All night and day
Unskinny bop, bop, bop, bop
She just loves to play
Unskinny bop nothin' more to say..."

Silly old hair band song :rockband:

omg...my DH loves to play all the hair bands really loud on the computer (where most of our music is). I just scream "crap rock! crap rock!"

dang...that was 1990? Can't even blame that on bad 80's music? :)

OMG, I love this song! I know it was 1990 because it was a big hit while we were on our honeymoon in Orlando, and it was constantly playing while were at the poolside bar at the hotel. It became our unofficial honeymoon song. We still smile everytime we hear it.

Who knew that Unskinny Bop was so romantic? :teeth:

My girlfriends and I still go to see Poison every summer...

 :teeth:

hehehe...i actually confess to having Poison's greatest hits on CD! along with Def Leppard...

my DH prefers the old hairbands and 70's rock to anything else on the radio nowadays. we have battles of music in our house...lol...i'm downstairs listening to clay aiken or the broadway musical Wicked soundtrack while he's upstairs listening to AC/DC or something like that...what a pair we make ;)

Heehee..this was the first 'naughty' song I learned the words to. I was 12 and I had just figured out what the 'unskinny bop' was. :rotfl2:

It's all in the way it's INTERPRETED. :earboy2:

I was always a big Poison fan...Saw them on their first big tour, opening up for Ratt....Yes, that was actually the "Ratt - Poison" tour :teeth: They're last stop on the first leg of that tour was in Charleston, WV...and after the concert, Ratt was banned from Charleston for YEARS...lol...Most fun I'd ever had at a concert to that point ::yes::

I sat third row, center at a Poison concert in March, 1989. I was in college and DH (then BF) came from VT to visit me in NC. I had walked down to the box office early in the morning and was the only person there when tickets went on sale.

At the concert, a trashy, drunk girl tried to steal our seats with counterfeit tickets. BF wrestled with a 12 year old and caught a drumstick (I still have it, I wonder what that would go for on ebay!). On the way back to my dorm, I thought I was going to pass out and my throat was killing me. Turns out I had strep throat. BF got it too and had to stay a couple of extra days before he drove back home.

Those were the days~

I saw them with Motley Crue in 2003 and with Kiss in 2004. I'm eagerly awaiting the summer line-up for the local venues to see what's in store this summer!

I love Bret Michaels.
