That was a truly unbelievable moment there this morning. It just felt so nice. Cleo is now sitting by my feet since I am getting up and down and my grits are in the microwave cooking for breakfast right now. I love moments where it is just me and my fuzzies like that

Jodie, it is funny, where I live I can hear the train whistling quite often. It used to be a constant in my life. I'd wake up at 3 am to hear the whistle. It is almost comforting for me I guess. I can see how it can be seen as sad though.

Karen, oh my!!! That boy's parents need to be told. Imagine the trouble he could get into with that later.

Oops, that would be me, not Karen! We didn't have the proof - but my friend did.... And I can tell you that without proof, you stand no chance whatsoever of reasoning with the parents - it's always everyone else's fault - or society's - whenever their kids do anything wrong. (But in their eyes, their kids do no wrong! )

DS just called on the cell phone - they are leaving the lake. It was -10º acutal temperature again last night! They are cold and tired! They won 3rd place in a couple of events. (There were only 4 boys from our Troop who went.) DS definitely sounded grumpy - didn't talk to DH. All I know is that I got the request for a good, hot meal when they get home in 3 hours (just the time I get home from Church!)

Better get off of here and get DD up for Church.

Hee hee Pam...guess they are grumpy cause the hot tub thing got canned!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Oooo...I can just imagine the mood MY dh would be in after sleeping on the ice all weekend...probably a good thing ya didn't talk to him!!! Morning, Ya Yas!! It's a winter wonderland here and for the first time I can remember, church services are cancelled. Here's why:

These were taken about 7:30 this morning and the snow hasn't stopped, as predicted. There is at least another inch or more already. Power hasn't gone out yet for us, either, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. The plows were out at 6:30 AM, but I haven't seen them come back yet and you can hardly tell now that they went thru! Yep, we're in for the duration.

Whoa Beth! You got it...we missed it! Just ice here...lots of ice! Snow mixes in from time to time....it was really coming down a few minutes ago!!! But I don't think we are looking at snow accumulations like you have! Stay warm, stay in...and enjoy the beauty of it all! Thanks for the pics!!!

Beautiful Beth!!!! Looks like us yesterday and today!!! I am loving just sitting here watching it all come down. We are more used to it so chruch wasn't canceled but I didn't weant to go out (sideways snow is a sign to me to stay home ) so I am just sitting here and loving it. I don't know if the snow we are getting today will hit you later, but this one is supposed to dump about the same amount of snow as the last storm did. Good luck! We didn't lose power for more than a minute or two and I am not sure it was weather related or not.

Gwen is being a brat. She just wants someone to plaly with her and she doesn't want to play downstairs... only up So she can cry all she likes, I won't get up for her anymore.

I just did an evil thing... Luis' brother called. The moment I saw who it was I put the phone down and ignored it. Okay it wasn't evil but I cannot stand talking to his brother. He can't spell my name but he treats me like I am stupid!!

Good morning!!
Looks like a lot of you are snowy
We have not had one snow flake fall this winter...........seems so strange. We don't usually get much, but usually one or two storms that leave a few inches for a week or so and several other times where it falls and doesn't last long.
Even in the eastern part of the state where they have snow on the ground all winter hasn't gotten any this year!
DD is feeling snow-angel deprived
And practices are back on the river!! Brrrrr!!

Karen....GBA in toilet? How did he magage that?

Elaine....I love quiet times too. A kitty purring on my lap while I am reading a book.
Mornings are MY time.

Morning!

No time to ketchup, getting ready to head out the door in a bit.

Dinner last night was good. Hung out w/ BIL & his GF. They asked us to be the Padrinos (Godparents) for their wedding next July. We are in charge of the cake, bouquets, and planning the bachelor/bachelorette parties (along w/ the best man and maid of honor). We are soo psyched. We also will be in the wedding. This is the first time I've ever been in a wedding (other than my own! LOL).

Thankfully the snow has stayed away from us, but I think its heading this way tonight or tomorrow. Blech!

Nancy, I want to live where you do! I am tired of the snow in general. We really don't need anymore. I must laugh though, there was a psychic this year that said we were going to have a mild winter.... HA!!! Boy was she wrong!!!

Well I think I need to check out the "damage" on the driveway. I think we will be shoveling every several hours or so just so we don't kill ourselves trying to do tons of inches all at once!

Game Boy in the toilet... Takes me back to the days of potty training. Couldn't get Cam to sit still on the toidy, so bought him a Sega Game Gear thingy. He almost dropped that thing in so many times... I finally tied a couple of shoe strings onto the strap, and whenever it was potty time, he'd run and get his Game Gear, loop it over his neck, and off he'd go to the bathroom. Kid would sit there for an hour if I let him!

Oh my Jeannie!!!! Gotta admit, I'm loving what you did to that picture!!!! What a lovely image for a charm...of course it would have to go right next to my GRACE charm.

If Dorkboy finds your poundcake, his toothpicks are gonna look like straws!

Oh, you be nice GP!! Those "toothpicks" are specially designed for the job that they're required to do.... and they do it VERY nicely I might add!

Scooter Paige! I wish we had more area where Cam could've done things like scootering, biking, etc.... He loves his inlines though, and cruises around on our little patch of concrete in the driveway. We're seriously thinking of concreting the whole thing so that he can have a little more skating space.

Sooooo, this morning I turn on the TV & swing by Cartoon Network. During a commercial break I see an ad for "verbnow.com". Kids playing with verbs or something. Then what pops on my TV screen? None other than mrfuzzychinwearingrazorsonmyfeetboy. He's selling *verbs*?? How do you sell a verb? Conjuntions, sure. "I'm Just a Bill", yeah, but verbs? Wow... and they even have their own web site! Whodathunkit??? They even showed "him" skating, showing off his, um, grace. He even talked too. So I know Kimmy will be watching for that ad soon.

But... but... what if I don't wanna get over it?! It provides the evil side of me with so much entertainment. You know I get bored easily Jay... I need a distraction now and then! Hey, they're so dumb, half the time they don't even realize they're being picked on anyway.

Forgot to say earlier...Jay, I loved our view too! Wanna hear something funny.....I sat on the day bed whenever we were in the room because I had a perfect view of everything. I did everything from that spot! Even kicked my girls off a couple times! That was MOM'S spot!!!

Morning Kim!! We use to have sidewalks but now in the country PAige only gets a driveway and a tiny bumpy street to scoot on. She doesn't seem to mind. At 7 degrees this morning she is actually scooting circles in the basement today!

I swear I haven't seen this much snow since I was a kid!!! Oh and yes the roads have been plowed through twice this morning... just keeps on coming down
