Didn't have time to even check in this morning--we got a new part-timer in the office today and for some reason, the boss decided I was to train her! Sha....right!!! I've been there all of 3 1/2 months and I still don't know all the clients or even all the computer programs! Some trainer I am!! Talk about the blind leading the blind!! Yeesh!! But, the girl is absolutely adorable! She's 36 and from Kazhakstan. )She calls it the Asian region of what was formerly the Soviet Union!) She is still trying to learn American English--she studied English previously, but did not realize that the British form is very different from American!! Wonderful sense of humor and so eager to learn and help out.

Michele, I am so relieved to hear your troubles are most probably panic attacks! Thank God it's something that is relatively easy to treat.

Night Michele! I am sooooo relieved that that was all it was...you can fix that one girl!!!!

Marilyn and Betty...my smoothies are made with pixie dust remember? No calorie...no sugar...just fixes what ails ya!!

The funeral was ...kinda weird ya'll.... very warm and touching. The teenaged grandchildren did the eulogy and read their thoughts and some poetry that he wanted read at his funeral.
The family was supportive and warm and smiling...not many tears...as Mr. Austin wanted. Such an awesome example of how families are meant to be....such a loving tribute. It is one I will not forget.

I kind of like the funerals that are planned well. It is amazing that teens can maintain themselves so well.

Over the past couple of years I have been to memorial services(Celebrations of Life) that have taken place around two weeks after the death and have found that the family has had time to adjust to the death and the celebration is wonderful. Both were of people who I really didn't know(MIL of my SIL, and father of a close friend). Both times I felt like I really knew the person by the time the celebration was over. If I had it to do over again I wish we would have chosen this route when my parents died.

Jodie, I know your smoothies have no calories either. They are so delicious!!!!! May I have a refill?

I received another gift certificate today from a student. I have been so surprised at the outpouring of gratitude by these kids. Today I got two passes to the movies. Steve and I will definitely enjoy this. Have I mentioned that I love these kids? I am really going to miss them. Although I am not going to miss the long hours that I have put in.
