Evening all!!!! Sorry I have been playing with the computer... deleting things and stuff like that. I am about to start loading everything on the computer soon.

OK Ladies Situation at my house ....Serious. At about 6:30 tonight this poor old guy knocks on our door asking if we know where some trailer park is. My DH says no and he asks my DH if he cancall his friend and call him a cab, seems the cab company dropped him off about a mile from our house for some odd reason( we are not in a city no bus no nothing not even street lights ). So DH gets the phone and calls the house of the people this guy is going too. They are all smashed. (No offence to anyone in a trailer park but from what DH gathered it was real redneck trailer trash talking and piss drunk.) The guy thanks Dh and we call the cab company back to come and get him. This guy has just been released from the hospital and is not very I don't want to say smart but he seems alittle slow in thought it takes him some time to gather his thoughts. Now there are a million reasons why this guy is on our doorstep. Dh and his buddy were outside smoking and talking to him not really wanting to leave him standing out there alone and not really wanting to invite him in because Dorian was alittle scared of him. Dorian just went to sleep at 8 and this poor guy is still waiting on the cab. I just told Jason to let him into the house I can't see him standing in the cold. It is not as warm as it was today. I really really feel bad for this man. I just don't know what to do. Everytime we have called the cab company they tell us 15 mins. DH is at a loss and I don't think we want to call these people back to come get him because they are drunk one and did admit to it and we are glad that they are stayin put. It has been one heck of an evening to say the least.

Whoa Denise....I would tread carefully here!!!! Why isn't the cab company responding? Do they know somethig you dont'? Take him a blanket and some warm soup and keep calling!!!! You have to think about your son. If the cab company doesn't respond soon I would call the police. They can help this poor man.

Well DH let him into the house to sit and warm up. He went back outside to the top of our drive voluntarily. I don't think he is dangerous. DH said he is in his late 50's. Dh just called the cab company and they just told him 5 mins. the cab company doesn't know anything. They do this all the time. The cabs here are sooooo SLOOOW.. They left my DH one day standing in a parking lot for 3 hours waiting for them. I was on my way home when I stopped to call my house to see if DH was there and got the message on the machine that he was still waiting. I got to my DH to pick him up before the cab did. We never call a cab if we can help it.

Denise, if the cab doesn't come, I would call the police too. Not the the guy has done anything wrong but because he is lost. Hopefully he doesn't need any real help (since you say he was recently released from the apartment). The poor guy.

The Cab just showed up....I was downstairs talking to the man. He is closer to 65ish now that I have met him and very shy. He is definitly mentally slow and upset that he caused us such a problem...(he really didn't) DH went out to meet the cab driver and make sure he had an idea of where this man was going. The driver was such an idiot. He dropped this poor man on the complete opposite side of town from where he needed to be. Jason called the sherriff department just before the cab came and they said if they didn't show up in 15 mins to call back and he would send someone up to us. They are out on a call. DH is called them back now to let them know that the cab came but to make sure that they know in case they let him out someplace else. I can't believe this cab company made this man wait 2 hours to pick him back up when they dropped him off at the wrong place to begin with. I can't really complain to them I don't think but I know who not to call when we need one.....Wow I am exhausted..

I'm turning this ship around so we can find them. After all, Natalie and Stacy don't have the same, um, bouyancy, as some other ladies I could have picked. At least the water wings will help keep them floating.

Or maybe I'll just go back into the depths of the ship and get lost again. Sure I'll be giving up that great suite. But it just doesn't seem right.... Sniff, sniff, sniff... Maybe this group of rats won't play poker as good as the last group.
