SARCASM? From bouncin' betty? Nah, never, not from our sweet elder yaya! :teeth:

And before anyone gets upset, if you didn't get a St. Patty's day card from me, that would be because I didn't have your address.

OOOOOOO, I know!!! "Horse with No Name", supposedly a song about heroin and the hallucinations it gave you, but I can't remember the group. We used to think that it was hilarious that my mom loved that song, but had no idea what it was about.
Ding ding ding!!!!! We have a winner! Well, partially, anyway. :p Yep, it's "Horse with no Name." LOL... I had to leave off the first line or it would have totally given it away.

As far as the group name, Bonnie, look at your avatar. Not the Mickey symbol, but the rest of it is an icon that stands for, which happens to be the group's name. Is that vague enough? :p

Bonnie, when I found that Cedar Point/Joe Cool pic, I laughed b/c I knew you lived close. :) I hoped it would be familiar to you! :)

Interestingly enough, I can't stand James Bond, just adore Pierce Brosnan since his Remington Steele Days.
I always wondered why they picked Timothy Dalton over Pierce in the first place. Then they *finally* put him in the role. :) Oh, not sure if you all get this comic, but "Sherman's Lagoon" is doing a storyline on filming a new Bond flick. The online comics are a week behind, but there's a classic one I'll post when they put it out there. Till then, you'll have to wait in suspense. :p

Note to self: pace yourself. I gotta see this. :smooth:

Oops! I didn't think about the trouble that I might get you in when I mentioned the card. Sorry!!!!!

Bonnie chimes in with the correct answer and Betty is a close second!! It is indeed, America. :)

Any requests? I have over 2 crates full of 45s & am ready to dive in. :) Hmmm... I found a copy of "Dueling Banjos." Maybe I should crank it up and make the neighbors nervous. :p Nothing like a little tune from Deliverance to make friends!! :p

Never saw Deliverance and have never wanted to. But I did like that song. It is definitely a classic.

Jay, you seem to remembering the old days, so can you remember, Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Binkini? I have it on 45.

I've never actually seen Deliverance, but know enough about it to not want to see it. :p

Betty, that would be Brian Hyland if memory serves correctly. Lemme dig and see if it's in the pile. :p If not, I probably have it on CD somewhere. :teeth:

I don't remember who sang it. My brothers were teenagers when I was born, so the first songs I heard were rock n roll. I dug them up a few years ago because DS was in marching band and they were playing Hang On Sloopie (don't even know if I spelled it right) DS saw his first 45 and turntable. He couldn't believe his eyes....

Well, this has been fun but I promised DD a night at the movies. We rented Tuck Everlasting (we have already seen it) but she really likes it so I need to pop some pop corn and get the basement ready for movie night.

Will check in later........

ROFLOL!!! Ahhh... the first vision of a turntable. Too funny! :p

The McCoys did Hang on Sloopy. Good song. :) OMG... I saw that Aaron Carter did a cover of it. Just did a search on Google & his name popped up with the song. Same lyrics as the original.  Should I be afraid to hear it???

Have a good movie night Betty! :) I need to find Blockbuster and sign up. The local place I used to go to for movies is an empty storefront now. :(
