Here is last weeks in case you did miss it.....Non Survivor fans

The men tie up the score in immunity! They did so in a fire building challenge
and a fishing challenge. The women may have improved in the survival skill
area, but the men still proved who wears the pants outdoors. I loved it. Much
better than remembering who has health and beauty items to win health and
beauty items. Nice touch with the immunity winner getting to keep the fish. It
is pretty clear that tribes occasionally throw immunity challenges to ditch
members (Shii Devil clearly admitted such at last year's reunion show). Tying a
reward (although I doubt either team this season has thought about throwing
one) encourages both tribes to go full effort instead of a sorry challenge with
only one tribe (or even worse, neither) trying.
We've seen "alpha males" duke it out, but now do we have a case of alpha
females? Joanna and Jeanne supposedly set up Deena for a leadership role.
Well, Deena now turned the tables on Joanna and I'm guessing Jeanne will be her
next target. Seems like pre merge Maaramu and Sook Jai all over again. The
strongest members are more concerned with the other physical threats. We have a
member so weakened she's begging to get voted off, and Deena decides to keep
her around and dump arguably one of their strongest women. Hello, we haven't
even made it to the merge yet, and we're talking about getting rid of physical
threats? Consider this, it's now even sides. Shawna will have to participate in
both challenges next week. If it's anything physical, it literally becomes a 6
on 5 challenge (and a weakened 5). The first three bootees were seen as weak
links, while Joanna was the first to be voted out for her strength. This could
work in the men's favor. Although I'm guessing next week's IC won't have much
physical activity if any. I wonder if Shawna will try to tank it to try to get
herself voted off. Sure, Joanna was a pain in the neck. But when Deena voted,
she said more about her being a threat than her being a pain in the butt. Same
with Heidi. They're starting to play the post merge game before the merge. I'm
not sure if these people saw last season's "fake merge", but future contestants
cannot assume when the merge will occur. You can argue Sook Jai assumed they
would merge when they dumped Robb (or maybe they were just too dumb). Don't get
me wrong, I'd rather see Shawna in the game personally than Joanna. But, if I
were on that tribe and Shawna was that weak and wanted to get dumped that
badly, I would've voted her off. I don't know why they conveniently left out
the vote for Christy. They say they do tell them all the votes, but why would
they leave off the Christy vote? And what was Shawna doing voting for her? What
strategic value did that accomplish? If Shawna wanted to separate herself, why
not vote for Heidi or Jenna? That'll make the cure girls want to get rid of
her. Speaking of Christy, it was nice seeing her as a swing vote and the "cute
girls" actually talk to her. Maybe she is useful. You think Christy wouldn't
jump at the chance to dump Joanna? Christy should've shoved her hand in
Joanna's face for payback. However, I wonder if the cute girls were able to
secure Christy's vote, they could've just let Shawna go and replaced Shawna
with Christy in getting rid of Joanna and Jeanne. But of course, that would be
too logical, and Survivor castaways aren't well known for their logic. Yes,
it's official. Deena is now a cute girl. Jenna must have let Deena into the
sorority. I have a knew nickname for Jenna. I'm calling her "Jenna Zeta Jones".
We've seen the "ZTA" jacket. This week, we see the "Zeta" sweatshirt. Keep in
mind her luxury item. It's not just a crown, it's a "Zeta" crown. This woman
has "Zeta" on the brain. This "Zeta" sorority is getting more free air time
this season than Coca Cola has. While Heidi has made comments about her and the
cute girls, Jenna Zeta Jones sure agreed with Heidi. Who is the bigger snot?
Best Jenna quote: "Don't be mad because we have good bodies. It's not our
fault. Get over it". Too bad Heidi graduated, or she could join "Zeta" as well.
You wonder why Shawna is part of the group? Shawna is not a Zeta, she was in a
different sorority (according to website, Pi Beta Phi). What's worse to a
sorority girl, a girl who isn't in a sorority or a girl in a different
sorority? As for Joanna, we've now had six African American women. Four of them
have now been dumped on the fourth episode. The two that weren't were Alicia in
Australia and Vee from Marquesas. Neither Alicia nor Vee went to tribal council
episode four. If you are an African American woman on Survivor, avoid going to
tribal council the fourth episode (day 12).
Although we didn't see much strategizing, I think Roger is still the vulnerable
one for the men, and I think the women will finally spare Shawna. We'll see
next week how bad Shawna wants out and what she does to make it happen. Maybe
Jaburu wins a reward and Shawna's strength comes back. It seems like it is all
mental to me. It was nothing like when Lindsey collapsed. Maybe if Jaburu gets
a good food reward, we'll see Shawna back to playing the game. Janet's strength
took a rise after they won the first challenge. If Shawna regains her strength,
but they lose, Jeanne will be the one to go. With Joanna out of the picture,
Jenna Zeta and Heidi can get rid of Jeanne anytime they want, so they can get
rid of Shawna and still hold an edge.
