First time I've been able to pop on since this morning.

Had a nice lunch with DH. We went to Red Lobster.

Bonnie, we got that ice and snow, too. YUCK!

YAY! SURVIVOR IS ON TONIGHT!!

Nancy, sorry someone came in and sniped to get that topper. I admit though if I e-bay that is the only way I do it. I don't bother waiting for the price to go up and keep bidding. I just go in at the last moment and snipe away. It's a great technique if you can get it

Well I had a busy day. My sister's officiant for the wedding backed out on her and didn't leave anyone for us to use. Grrr... how rude!!! I don't care that she is only a family friend or the mayor of a burb near by, that was just wrong. So I spent some of my normal DIS time dealing with that and trying to find a new officiant. My sister doesn't know yet so we'll tell her when we have some very good people to choose from.

A *thing*?? A *thing*??? Okay, I gotta be honest... This reminds me of an episode of Dexter's Laboratory on Cartoon Network when Dexter finds a way to translate what a dog says. The dog was barking at everything. After translation, all he was saying was, "It's a *THING*! A *THING*!! Lookit the *THING*!!! It's a *THING*!!" Oh well... That didn't sound as funny as when I saw it on TV. I guess it was a location thing... You had to have been there.

This reminds me of a Farside I saw once. The pic is a bunch of dogs standing around in their respective yards....they're all barking and the word bubbles over their heads all read: HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY! HEY! Okay.... so maybe it was another one of those location things Jay mentioned.

Wedding stuff. Oye! Is there a wedding out there anywhere that doesn't have something like that happen? Mine was this: Bridesmaids ranging in sizes from 4-24... searched HIGH and LOW for a dress that came in that kind of size range... found it, ordered it.... size 24 girl backed out. ARGH!!!! ...and it was the butt ugliest dress you've ever seen and the rest of the girls were stuck with it!

That's awful Kim! I couldn't imagine picking a dress then having the one end of the spectrum back out I must say though that your BMs were good sport to wear them all the same

I admit, I cannot think of one thing that went "wrong" for my wedding. Then again I didn't really care. I was engaged for 3 years and truthfully I just wanted to be married

Pooky has been my nickname for years. Actually, Tom's family call me that more than they do Kim. LOL! ...and a SpongeBob charm to represent Cam. I'd rather have a M*A*S*H one, but haven't found it yet. Then of course the piggy, etc. Gotta get all these before they disappear!!

Nope...haven't ordered the Harley one yet...it's gonna have to wait I'm afraid..."Mr. Grumpy" remember? But I did order one today! Might just order onnnne more....it's not every day ya get to celebrate losing 30 pounds!!!

Well ya'll....I think I'm gonna say goodnight. "Mr. Grumpy" is waking up at 3am to go skiiing in the morning.....solo trip! So hopefully drivin his new car and doing something fun will lighten him up!
I am chaperoning the 3rd grade field trip to the Virginia Museum of Fine Art in the morning....I will be in charge of 8 wild things...in a musem full of priceless art!!! And the teacher always gives me the wild boys!!! heh heh heh....gotta remember to pack my whip!!!! Just call me Indy!!! After the field trip I help at the book fair until 3p....run home and get Caitlin to the barn, pick her up and then head out at 7p to drive the teenybopper carpool to the Middle School dance!!! OMG!!! That looks really bad when its all written down!!! Ahem...and dh is skiing...alone. I will pay him back in spades in July!!!

I went one time recently to get a Betty Spaghetti doll and that's been it. You could always go and look for the pin

The radio commercial is cute. He compares the McD's curve to a speed track curve...lots of scientific jargon.........so I can't even recite it for ya
