Note to self: I am hanging around a fast crowd!!!!! My mother warned about them. Bonnie got a ticket for speeding....I can't believe it......our pure, sweet, innocent, elder Ya Ya would never do a thing like that..........well, OK now that I have thought about, maybe she would.

Well, the two team mates came home. Both were exhausted but wanted to make a trip to Sam's to get a case of gatorade. So off we went and of course bought so much more than a case of gatorade. About the handbook, well, I have the new improved version. They make allowances for anyone who has cheetoed their husband and can't keep the spaghetti from going down the drain................

Well, DD has chorus practice tonight from 7-9:30. They are going to competition this Saturday and guess who got volunteered to be a chaperone? Oh yes, that is the down side to being at school a lot. They know me too well. Best part is that DD also volunteered DH. Hee! Hee! We have to be at school at 6:10 Saturday morning but we will be back by 11:00 AM. Guess I will be taking an afternoon nap.

Please use your warm, sweet, soft voice when talking about Krispy Kreme donuts. Wait a minute, that is the same adjectives that I use to describe their donuts.........

Have to admit, that I am not a fast driver. Never have been. I usually drive the speed limit anywhere, but then again I know that Bonnie lives in a small town.......and she said something about moving south.........maybe she was trying to make a quick getaway!!!

Pam, how have you been? Haven't been on for a few days and I really miss your critter food.

Well..... Betty, I had to hit the back button several times and delete my donut talk! My bad!!

I'm doing ok. Just a wee bit tired and grumpy. DS has to get his class schedule figured out for 9th grade in the fall. Poor kid is discovering that it's hard to pick from all those electives! DD is a senior next year and she's really boxed herself in with all the AP classes - but she did that this year as well - I'm like, "Take it easy and have fun your senior year!" My bad!!

DH is out ice fishing - figures this will be the last week the ice will be on the lake. DS didn't want to go as it's a school night.

The bad thing about being tired and trying to reply on a thread like this is that I forget what I was going to say halfway through my reply So ignore me tonight I am tired though because I had about 4 hours of sleep last night. Luis was on call and had a call that kept me up really late so I am only half here now.

Bonnie, sorry you got the ticket, but remember these two things. 1) it wasn't as much as my last speeding ticket ($100) 2) you weren't going as fast as I was when I drove back from Chicago (95 mph). But it still stinks and I would ride with you any day if given the chance

It's at Bayside. I've never been to Boston, neither has DH. If we go, should we try and book a hotel right by the Expo Center? How tricky is it to drive in Boston. (We've heard all kinds of horror stories!! )

Pam, we just went through scheduling. DD will be a sophomore and only had room for one elective. She loves chorus so that is a requirement or so she says. DS is a senior and really wishes he had listened to mom about scheduling for his senior year. The counselor at school kept on him with bullsh*t about how you should make your senior year challenging and he listened to her instead of wise Mom. He knew that he was not interested in any major field of study for science but still took AP Physics. Now he is kicking himself because he doesn't even need a science in college for his major and he is now wasting time and brain cells. (my bad!) I don't understand why the counselor talked him into it but she did and now he is living through it. He would rather spend more time on his senior term paper. But physics is taking so much time.
