I finally watched Lord of the Rings last night. WOW good movie. Couple of good looking men in that one too

Liz really hope it is not a sinus infection. Seems the medicine always makes you feel worse than the actual infection Hope you feel better soon.

Lily better buy earplugs and earmuffs, lol. My oldest ds plays the guitar--has several amps but one is huge. I'd say its about 4 ft tall and is extremely loud. But I know he is going to be rich and famous one day and take care of his dear old mom.
Ds #2 has a guitar but now has his sights set on a drum set. I think my neighbors are going to hate me soon
No snow, rain or ice here but it is pretty chilly. Going to be in the 30's tonight I believe. My oldest ds sleeps with the window open and 2 fans blowing on him--I think he is part polar bear
Nancy Im sorry you ds isnt going to be home. I dont look forward to those days.
Still havent seen Pirates Oh well one of these days I will.

All boys are going to school today. YAY! Now hopefully my 10 yo won't get sick. He's the only one so far (besides me & DH) who hasn't got this cold.

Tonight is my 11 yo's Christmas choir concert.

Liz, I hope you are feeling better! Take some very good decongestants... I am prone to sinus infections and I take one specific decongestant (a Sudafed 12 hour... no pain, no cough, just nasal decongestant) and it really helps out!

I agree Tina, there are some great looking men in that movie (okay one in particular )

And your comment about meds... that's why I never take antibiotics unless I know my body can't kick it... most of the time small sinus infections can clear up on their own

( ) But, seriously folks! Going thru what's goin' on during the holidays has made it hard and due to some unfortunate circumstances DS and I have spent the last 2 nights
at a hotel. DH should be here tomorrow to get our house at least livable. So, the drama of my life continues...............................
My DSis came up with the idea that I should treat DS and myself to a day of fun and fantasy by coming down Fri. and
going to WDW with her. Starting to sound like a wonderful idea.
On the bright side I've been given the opportunity to
work a special project here at work and that I was selected really helps my self confidence and gives me a little more sense of security on this job.
On that note I better get going.

I would have been in a hotel about 2 days after staying with my ILs You are a brave, brave woman!!
Things will get better.

DH used to be VERY prone to sinus infections (woodworker ya know)....and his doctor recommended he wash his sinuses and nose out every morning and evening with a warm water/baking soda/ salt solution. Gross.....but it really works. He hasn't had a problem in a long time.
Hope you are feeling better Liz.

Morning all

Had DD's concert choir last night. was very good. short and sweet lasted only thirty minutes. She is in jr high. They were very good.

Can someone tell me how long it takes a drs office to copy records???? I called two weeks ago to let them know I had an appt in SAn Diego with the dr they sent me to. The Drs office in San Diego called them also and asked for copies to be sent. I asked for copies of my records so I have no problems when I get there. I called this morning. Not ready. They promise by Friday I hope so My Appt is Monday I am leaving Sunday. Sorry had to vent

Yikes!! Two of my DS's got MAJOR haircuts last night....boy, do THEY look different!!

Well, I went to the mall, but didn't find a wallet. I did buy myself a new coat, though. My friend I babysit for gave me a "bonus" check the other day so I used that. I love it.
Also ran into Pembo and her DD while at Kaufmanns, which was pretty cool.

Please send some PD & prayers out for my nephew/godson. He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance (from his drs. office) this morning. He had a fever of 104.5, vomitting, and he was dehydrating. We stopped by the hospital to see him and his fever is down, but they are still running tests, so not sure what it is or how long he'll be there.
