Evening all. No ketchup, just wanted to share my son's day at school.

Some of you may have seen a thread where I told of some colorful words learned by my son from another student. Well, today I walk in and the teacher tells me that she has bad news. "Oh geez, what did HE do today?" (I knew it had to be Jarrod doing something wrong! ) Jarrod comes running up to me and says "look mommy, Curtis bite me!" He sure as heck did. Left a mark the size of a quarter on his right side at his ribs. Just barely broke the skin, but it did. Apparently this child got mad at the teacher and bit and scratched her. Jarrod ran to her defense (that's my boy) and Curtis didn't take too kindly to be yelled at by a peer so he turned around and went head first into his side and bit the plug right out of him. Jarrod was very good and only shoved the kid off of him and didn't bite him back. I was proud of Jarrod but I wish he would have showed this kid that this is not acceptable!! The school sent the boy home and I guess he is on probation for a few days. He really is a cute kid and sweet when he wants to be, but when things don't go his way he is totally out of control. I'm glad that Jarrod will be staying home with my mom and just a few other kids beginning in January. Hopefully this will encourage some better behaviors and safer for Jarrod. I'm not mad at the school because they can't predicte a child's behavior and they did all the could to get him away from Jar, but still....

Anyway, must go to sleep. I will do proper ketchup tomorrow after my Christmas shopping. I'm called Jar's dr. to see if he needs any other shots or anything (thinking rabies!!!) then if he does it will give me an excuse to leave school and be able to go shopping sooner!!!

Wow - what a pistol that little boy must be! What did the doctor say about the rabies shot? When my DD was 2 yrs. old, her cousin bit her on the leg - drew blood and everything. Later, at one of her check-ups, I told the doctor and he said that a human bite is one of the worst ones - and sometimes a rabies shot is needed!

Tara, friend had same thing happen in her day care. Seems that's what some kids feel they need to do. Amazing! Sorry your DS had to be the victim, but also sounds like he certainly already knows what he feel is the right thing to do. Good for him!

Just got up to see a whole bunch of...rain!!!! What a bummer!! I was hoping for snow. Not much new here otherwise. Today is do the laundry day, and there is lots of it to do!!! So, on that note...

Decent day out today, temp wise. Supposed to hit 49. But, we're also getting rain. Then snow is predicted the rest of the week.

Jonathan is staying home from school today. His cold is aggrivating his asthma and he's coughing and hacking. Found out the Robitussin DH bought YESTERDAY expired in 5/03. I gave him a dose yesterday, then noticed this morning as I was about to give him another dose. I am sooo ticked.

Really running late here... Nancy is confusing rebelious w/ set in her ways (btw, I saw a small "pirate" movie last night ), Lily is feeling in the dark because she probably hasn't seen the rules on picture sizes that you are allowed in your siggy (will find a link later for you if you like), Liz is getting lots of cards and has more Christmas stuff to do to keep her busy, Tara had a heck of a day because of a bad situation for Jarred , Pam & Lily love their high speed internet (as do I), Todd's still dreaming about his football team, Liz & Sherry are seeing rain like I am and Jonathan is still sick

Morning all! Got in late to work so have to make this quick.
Bummer of a night last night and too much to go into but,
found myself without someone to get DS off to school today .

Sherry-Glad you don't have strep in your house. We just went thru a bout of that. DS had it 3 times last year, hopefully we aren't going to have a repeat performance.

Got several cards over the weekend and yesterday! Can't remember who they were all from due to the drama in my life
right now but a BIG thank you to everyone!

Yeah, what she said!!!!! Whew! I'm caught up now!

Called the pediatrician and the triage nurse said that there was really nothing they could do for him as long as he is up to date on his shots. Not sure if the other child is up to date or not, so I will call them to make sure. She said he didn't need a rabbies shot at this time!!! hehehe

We just had a little pita pull the fire alarm so before busses were all off loaded we had to have a fire drill!! But on the bright side I'm going shopping this afternoon!!! woohoo!!!
