What is with all of the sickies?????? Well I went and spent money today for everybody that couldn't. I bought my yankee candle exchange....oh yeah and I got a few candles for me too...3 pairs of very cute lounge pants (aka jammies) for after I have my surgery...my lovely cast will fit undeneath of them very nicely...and I get to spend the whole winter in jammies!!! And I got ornment exchange as well. That is all of the retail therapy I could handle for one day!!! It is crazy windy here too!! Lake Michigan waves are 15 to 20 feet here in Indiana right now!!! I am hoping I won't be in Kansas when we wake up. Hope everybody is feeling better soon!! Lily, I totally understand about your trip....We just cancelled our Disney trip cause i will be having surgery soon. The fun part of all of this is....you get to plan all over again. For me, that is half of the fun. I sure hope Nancy is having a wonderful time and eating lots of Mickey Bars on my behalf!!!! Sweet dreams to all....oh Pam....there is a ton of deer road kill here lately...where would you like me to send it????

It is SUPER windy here. Its freaking me out. So eerie when the house is so quiet. We are under a wind advisory until 4:00. Last night we were under a tornado watch, and one actually touched down in Wooster. Very scary.

Ooooohhhh, tons, Liz??? If there's that many, how about running them through the meat grinder, then you'll be able to ship more in the cooler! Just stick some dry ice in with the meat!

Awww Lily sorry you had to resch your cruise but its great you can still take it later. I wish they would have another members cruise, we missed that one but Im not going to miss the next, lol.

The cold front is just now starting to blow through here. I was up at 4 with Connor and it wasnt any cooler yet but this time when I opened the door the wind was really blowing. Im so ready for some cooler weather.

Weather has cleared up here. Sun is shining Is supposed to be about 72 today.

I hope all my fellow Ya ya's are fealing better. When I talked to my DH this morning on the phone he sounded pretty bad. Won't be home until this evening.Can only keep my fingers crossed he is feeling better than he sounds.

Afternoon all!!

Deena...apologies for taking so long to respond. WDW the first two weeks of June was wonderful. Yah the first week was gay pride week...but we honestly didn't notice it since we steered clear of Pleasure Island. We chose to visit Sea World that Saturday...so the only glimpse I got was all the red shirts at the transportation center. Granted it's HOT down there...but not as bad as July and August. The water bottle coozies and neck wraps were wonderful for keeping cool. Use LOTS of sunscreen and hats...and you'll be fine.
Oh....the wait for rides really wasn't bad. We did alot of fast passes and skipped several other rides. Derek gets sick on the big coasters that do loops...so that cuts out quite a few of them.

Definitely do Universal (both sides) while you're there. We only did one side and regret it....
I think I booked the DC reservations in December or January...most likely December.

OMG Kristy I love your new pic!! How cute. I cant wait to get my hands on a dolphin, lol. Glad the crowds were good. As for hot I live in Houston--we rival Florida for heat and humidity any day, lol. Actually our Sept trip they have had 90 dregree weather some days, and this Oct was also pretty warm.
Did you guys stay on property at Universal?? We LOVE it there. There hotels are right on par with deluxe at Disney. RPR is awesome and the boys (the 2 oldest) loved the HRH. Although I think I liked RPR a little better. I just love the tropical theming. Our last trip we bought the AP's for Universal and Disney so I want to get atleast one more visit out of them.
Hopefully if I make in Dec I can talk someone into Grinchmas with me
