Let's just say it was a good thing he was a guide dog and wasn't outside much. When we let him play in yards he would get itchy and scratch himself. Even though we knew it was allergies, people in resteraunts or church do not want to see a scratching dog! They automatically assume fleas and I can guarantee that we kept him cleaner than most of their kids were!

Come to think of it, we probably kept him cleaner than our own kids are now.....

We did have to give him a monthly shot, but it wasn't too inconvienent and he was a great worker so you do what you have to.

Boo--be sure to leave the cheetos out for a couple of days so they are nice and hard When David and I were planning our wedding so was his cousin. Just happened they started dating about the same time we did and ended up getting married the week before. They werent able to come to our wedding because they were still on their honeymoon in Hawaii--the same place we were going as well, lol. But we beat 'em on the baby front, lol. Evan was born 10 months after we got married.

Alan, I am glad it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for the shots. I bet a good worker would matter more than anything else. I knew a couple people in college with guide dogs though, and I think they were treated better than anyone I saw. I bet your kids aren't as clean as that dog was

Can't figure out if I should laugh or cry!!!!! I hurt A LOT and mom is not helping the situatuion!!! I am trying to take my mind off of pain and decide to watch a little TV....inevidibly, the TV show (which I think was 7th Heaven) is just like our family.....NOT!!!! So my mom decides we NEED to mend all of our relationship problems, because they can do it on TV in a half an hour! Certainly we could too! So she is sitting here bawling and I am about to lose it! Can't TV be just for entertainment? So she sees I am annoyed and asks if she should leave theo room....of course that would be a wonderful idea and I tell her so....maybe I should jsut stay here...it looks like you need me!!!! Why sk a question if you are not going to listen to the answer!!!! She did this to Greg as well when he got home...will this ever end!!! Sorry to crab...but she is drivng me nuts and I am not sure how muchmore I can take! I did call my sister and she got a good laugh out of it! My poor sister...this is her life!!!!!! I think I NEED adrink...or at least some toll house cookies!!!! Wish me luck!!!!

YEAH!! Nancy got her box!! Did ya notice it was the same box you sent the baby gifts in? I picked that box up to put my stuff in and there was your return address on it!! I figured that would be very appropriate!!

I have to tell you that buying the stuff for lily was my first ever foray into the BAB. Of course I chose to do it on a day when there were 20 girl scouts doing their thing, with the mothers all chasing them, and when it came check out time I had to wait while each one of them paid their money and got their certificate!! when I got up to purchase my stuff the girl asked me which daughter was mine....uh I came in here with a boy in utero and I'm leaving with that same boy...but thanks for asking!!
Maybe lily will need to leave her goggles on top of her head instead of on her face!! hehehe Those were too cute to pass up!

Almost done with the x-stitch picture. Gonna go finish it and hopefully I will post a picture tonight to show I have actually accompolished something today!!

Liz I am so sorry to hear that you are hurting so much and that your mom is not making things easier on you. You poor thing. My thoughts and prayers are with you sweetie. I will be saying prayers and thinking good thoughts about the pain meds working better for you. If ya need em take em. Same thing they keep telling me about the ones for my back. Like you I try to tough it out. Dont though. Take them as you need to.

Things here are pretty good!! My back is MUCH better since he put the two shots in it and that should work for about two weeks until he gets back from vacation. The kids are almost done with school. I can see the end date through the trees now. It will be nice to have a break for the summer from homework, school work, worrying about the ADHD and how school is going for them. They need the break and so do I. My eldest just has one more big project to do and thats his science fair project. He is doing it on how cholesterol causes heart attacks. Can ya tell mom works for a cardiologist?? ROFL. We are planning a trip to the World for Memorial Day weekend and also 4th of July. Im excited about the two trips!!! I will take lots of pictures for you and have some chocolate cake.

Tara sweetie PLEASE take it easy and rest. Im worried about you. I think you are right though I think your working days for now are over if just sitting up for awhile is pushing your bp so high. I will be saying prayers and thinking good thoughts for you.

Elaine congrats on the DVC closing!!! I am so happy for you. You will have to tell us all about your plans for your first trip to your new home.

I have to admit my jaw dropped too when I saw that your kids didnt want to go to DL shep and Amanda. Im sure they will love the beach and you will love the relaxation time.

Shrek 2 was so cute and very funny!! We loved it. Not quite as good as the first, but very good. Lots of LOL moments. The theater was filled with kids just laughing away.

Good morning all!! Sorry I've been scarce lately--got lots of fun stuff going on at work and Mon-Wed evenings are booked every week till the end of June! coming up for air soon, I hope!! Boy-genius boss took off for Canada yesterday, so things should be a little quieter the rest of the week. I'm reading a good book too, pure escapeism!!

Tara, take it easy! Sounds like your big boy wants his last month of cooking to be peaceful and quiet. Doesn't he know he's joining a 4 year old??!!! Good luck keeping that BP down--don't watch or listen to the news, either!
