Suzanne…woohoo you are still employed! Glad you were able to transfer within the company. It is so strange for me to not have to worry about whether or not I have to work on the weekends. My store was voluntear of the year again this year! They called me but I had to be at school so I missed the award!! L

Liz…sorry the ankle is still bummed. You need to get you a jazzy scooter so you can scoot your way all over Chicago and still be the tour guide! Sorry things aren’t working out for you but I’m sure there is a silver lining to this cloud somewhere!!

Deena…I had to lOl your gripe about the doityourself check outs! I hate when those things yell at you and you haven’t done anything wrong! I usually yell back and that makes people around me take about 3 steps backwards. Now that I’m preggers they really stand back! Hehehe Glad you are moved into your house. I’m sure you are glad too!!

Shep and Amanda…got a package from Kentucky today. I don’t recognize the last name and I didn’t open the card, but I believe I know who sent it! Now all I have to do is figure out how to get the msn instant messenger and I’m all set. Gonna work on that this weekend!! I have found that I like going to wdw the week before Thanksgiving. That is when we went last year and what we have planned for this year. The crowds don’t pick up until the Saturday before Thanksgiving but then we leave on Sunday. Things will be different when Jar starts school…we will have to rethink our plans!

Sherry…congrats on your anniversary. I will know I have met prince charming when we can last one whole sporting season!! Almost made it once….but then realized that he was a pathological liar with 3 or 4 other females besides me..so I had to kick him to the curb! Congrats for you all!

Elaine…LOTR trivial pursuit!! I tried reading the hobbit in middle school and somehow I thought the hobbits were funny little elf thingies so I was surprised when I saw the previews for that series. Maybe I need to read the books and then try the movies!! But then again as my assistant pointed out today…the last movie I saw was in 1987!! (not really but close!)

Rosemary….good luck with the RL! I’d offer to change places with you but I don’t know if you really want to be fat, pregnant, and have your feet the size of grapefruits…but hey if you’re game…so am I!! Hehehe good luck to you my friend!

Nancy…thank you for the card. The bunny on the front looks just like my bunny Muffin that died last summer! I enjoyed the reminder of her cute little flat face (and the bunny that appeared in my yard that afternoon…I have not seen it since!) Sorry DH is away for his birthday…hopefully he will bring you something cool from Japan to make up for it! J

Beth…I’m with you…fantasy is enough reality for me! Give me something fake any day of the week (other than the fake stuff ON the reality people! If I wanted to watch a mating dance I’d turn on Animal Planet, If I wanted to watch people bicker over stupid stuff I’d sit in the faculty lunch room! Nope fantasy is perfect for me!) My mom bought some of that fabric transfer computer paper stuff to put a picture of Ethan on when he is born to make a shirt for Jarrod. I told her I knew someone who actually used the stuff!

Tara…have trouble not falling off the wagon with the gd…cravings have been bad the last few days. Appt. is next Thursday. Comps are being mailed today so will have for next week. I think I’m ready. Still waiting for cap and gown to arrive and now I find out I could have picked it up the day before graduation (they said the Saturday before and I thought they meant the week before! Oh Duh!) Bought a bathing suit yesterday. It’s cute but my legs are so white the black suit really makes them look like they are related to Casper the friendly ghost!! I have a picture to post of me but you all will have to promise me you won’t pay attention to how bad I look. It was taken right before bed after I had been bathing suit shopping!! So makeup and hair were a mess. I don’t usually look like I’ve been doing drugs! Hehe

I haven't watched Survivor in two weeks....just not that addicted to it. As for AI....I was THRILLED when Camille got booted last night. Couldn't stand to listen to her. Agree that JS and JPL need to GO soon. I think I figured out what it is about Diana I don't like....she's a minature Paula...just look at the hair and the way she prances around the stage. I'm rooting for Jasmine or LaToya now.

hmmm....what else....OH...did pretty good for my first day of Weight Watchers...just need to up the intake of water and fruits..and decrease the sweet tea.

Sorry I have not been around too much lately. RL is not being all to friendly to me either lately!!! All I can say is a great big arggggggggggggg!!!!!

So I scheduled my appointment for my injection/test....and the one and only day it can be done is....guess when.....April 23 at 1 pm!!!! So, there goes Chicago for me!!!!! Not sure about the evening yet either as injections have a tendancy to put me in a GREAT deal of pain. That is going to be a play it by ear thing once I see where I am at in my pain.

Just got my reality check for this next surgery. If they do a bone fusion, I will have a piece of my hip harvested to use to fuse my ankle. Not a fun surgery and very painful. Then to add to that, if the fusion is done, I will be in a cast for at least 12 weeks....and we are heading into the summer months.....Yes, I am having a HUGE pity party for myself right now.... If the ankle is totaly replaces, I have no idea what to look forward to with that, as there are so few done....nobody can really tell me what to expect!! So that is my life right now.....not very happy!! Sorry!

On the upside of things, Happy Birthday to Kristy and Nancy's DH!! Happy Anniversary to Sherry and Jr!!! Oh, and Kristy, my package went out Tuesday to the preggers lady!!! Preggers Lady, AKA Tara..be on the lookout for a very familiar looking yellow Disney Store box... This will be a huge shock too Kristy, I am lizdotcom99 at MSN!!!

Luckily his passport and most of his credit cards were somewhere else.....only lost the Disney card (going on # 3 now )....and $300
But the guys in Taiwan did take him to dinner for his birthday.

Good morning!! I'm ahead of schedule this morning and thought I'd drop in for a minute or two. I feel soooo inferior Tara and Liz have posted magnificent ketchups!! I plead old age and the onset of senility--that's it!! I'll leave the mammoth ketchups to you young whippersnappers!!

Tara, I love the pic you posted! Brings back such fond memories of my first pregnancy when the DH was on an ice breaker down in Antarctica and I used to have someone take a pic of me to send every couple of weeks! Sure can sympathize with the swollen feet!!

Liz, I am CRUSHED that you have to have that test on the 23rd!! Can you possibly come to Chicago Fri. morning? Then we could at least have a couple of hours to meet and do a little shopping or have a tea party or something! Although, I guess that might be too much driving for too little play time...... stoopid ankle!!!

Nancy..sorry DH's wallet was stolen Mean people. OOps I said Japan I stand corrected Taiwan. Glad people took him to dinner! Your tulips are gorgeous! Jarrod planted some Tulips at his other grandma's house and then he brought them home a few days ago. We sat them in the sun and they are in full bloom. Jarrod loves flowers so my mom got a cute little gardening set for him from the Easter Bunny, it has a kneeling pad, gloves, and a hat. It is too cute. She is going to look today for a miniature trowel so that he can help plant his tulips!

Elaine...it really hasn't been since 87 it just feels like it. Actually, I don't watch too many movies at home either. I guess I'm slightly adhd because the idea of sitting through a two hour movie at home gives me the jitters. It's different if I get sucked into something but I don't plan movies. I never used to be this way but over the last few years I have really gotten bad about them!! Now give me the Food network or tLC and I can sit for hours! who knows!

Liz...sorry to hear about your foot shot being on the chicago day. Tell the cute doc he needs to really fix you this time!!

Morning YaYas! I'm working, but at least I have company. Boss decided to come in today too. Now it won't be so bad I hope and I actually am feeling a bit better right now. Hope I don't slip back.

My Mom is 86 today! Had a slice of ice cream cake last night in celebration. Then DH came home and I had another slice so he wouldn't have to eat alone.
