Beth....I will be at BG the week of Spring break here (april 12- 14). We changed our PA plans and decided to stay a little closer to home.

Suzanne...woohoo DM is happy. My last scheduled shift is tonight and then I have an oc tomorrow...end of hte month so I will probably be working. Forgot I could wear my HOTR shirt so I have regular blue tonight (the HOTR probably won't fit me anyway!! )

Good morning, everyone!! It is another beautiful SPRING day here in northern Virginia!! It is currently 60º and we are headed for at least the mid 70s today!!! I am LOVING it, just wish I could do more than look out the window at it. But, at least I can see the and that makes me feel good.

Got totally discombobulated last evening--getting ready to leave the office to go get my allergy shots (gotta leave right at 5 to get there before they close) and at 4:57, I get a call from a customer. They need 4 pieces of memory shipped overnight for their new computers. I get the form emailed to him by 4:59 and he calls back to say no, he needs 6! I'm sweating now--and realize that his co-worker ordered that memory last Friday! Call the supplier, get the FedEx tracking number, track the package and find it was delivered on Monday, as expected. Call the customer and ask sweetly if he realizes that his co-worker ordered that memory and it has already been delivered. He apologizes, I grit my teeth and try not to slam the phone down. It is now 5:23 and there is no way I can get to the doc for my shots before closing time. TOTALLY screwed up my routine and made me completely forget I was going to go see Poohzanne and get my Disney Dollars for DL!!!!! Sorry, Suzanne blame it on my dumb customer. What's your weekend schedule look like?!

Tara, glad you were able to find the positive in your gd and continually having to check your blood sugar. It's a pain, but aren't you glad it's something that can be controlled!! Wish I could hit BG when you will be there, but weekdays are tough with my job. Weather should be great for you, though, and you'll be able to walk off all the Easter calories!!

We thought about going that weekend but Jarrod's dad will be in town and they haven't seen each other in a month so we decided to go on Mon and tuesday so that they could spend some time together! Tina..forgot to say congrats on the all A's for your dd!! That's wonderful....I never got even honor roll in school (well until I went to college and that was only after the first year when I realized you had to actually go to class and not stay out all night!!)

Jarrod has a stomach bug now. He started at school yesterday and continued through the night. He woke up this morning feeling pretty good so I'm hoping that this will continue for the day. I ended up calling the nurse on call about the fact that he hadn't held anything down in about 5 hours and I got immediate feed back and told what to do! (unlike Kristy last night! [6timemomma] ) She said that just about every 3 year old in the area had had this bug. Lovely!!

Gonna go work now. I think I have added enough posts for today. I'll be back tomorrow after my disney stint!!

I feeeeeeeeel good doo doo doo doo doo doo doo!!! Im having a great day even with this cold. I have fibromyalgia hence the not sleeping well and the nasty iccky pain I am in daily. Well three little prednisone pills last night....was supposed to take six but I fell asleep....and the pain in my body is GONE!!!!! I am on cloud nine today I feel so good. My doctor keeps telling me the pain is weight related from the gain I had on the HIGH doses of prednisone when I was sick. He feels the weight is contributing to the worsening of my fibromyalgia. Well Im STILL FAT but I have no pain. I would think if it were weight related not even the predisone could help that. My cold is getting better and the congestion in my chest is breaking up rather than tighening. I am sooooooooo the happy campy today!

Liz I LOVE your trip reports. I cant wait for the next one. I agree with you on what you did during the parade. I couldnt help but snicker also at what happened to that lady. She got paid back for what she did. Im a firm believer in you get what you give out.

Tara Im glad to hear the GD diet is working well for you and not too hard to follow hassle wise. I hope Jar feels better very soon! Pd on the way for him.

Beth Im so sorry that happened to you. Can you go to the allergist today?

Welp gotta get back to work. I tell ya I have done more in four hours today than I normally get done in 8 because Im not dealing with the pain and the exhaustion.

And no Mickey or Minnie to start the day…..Not to worry, I woke up pretty early anyway!! Showered and readied myself and then woke Greg up. You know the routine by now, off to fill up the mugs and then back to hurry Greg up!!!

Today was a Greg day, so he got to pick. This was quite painful I will have you know. Today is early entry at the Kingdom, did Greg know this? Of course he did, he is with me! Well he chose to go to Animal Kingdom. I *happily* complied. OK, in the back of my mind I was not really *happy* but it was his day!!! Really I was happy, I just would have been happier at the Magic Kingdom, but I was playing nice!!!

Off to AK!!! First ride, Dinosaur!!! Twice in fact!! That is definitely our new favorite!! And wouldn’t ya know we were to Tarzan just in time for the first show. Back to Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl….and finally a Bug’s Life. It got hot mighty quick we so called it a day!! On the way out, the wandering palm tree was having fun flirting with me and wanted to know if I wanted to race!!! Gotta love the talking things at Disney!!!

Well, I had a hankering for…a Dole Whip, so guess where we went next…yep the Magic Kingdom!! We rode some of our favorites…Buzz, Big Thunder and a first time ride on the Liberty Belle River Boat!! One quick trip around the World on the train and my how time flies!!! We have a 6 pm ressie at Yacht Club to meet Greg’s boss from when he was a cast member many moons ago.

We get to the bus stop and are the only ones there. We wait, and wait and wait and finally more people show up. The bus finally gets there, but the lift doesn’t work!! Normally this would not be a problem, but be are sure cutting our dinner ressie close!! Never fear, not too far behind was a bus ready just for us!! I really have to tell you, we never really waited too long for a bus. And this was the only time we really had an issue with a non working lift!! For the most part, all of the drivers were wonderful!!!

Anyway back to the room to change and then off to Epcot so we can cut through and head to the Yactsman. Dinner was just OK. I was not too impressed. Yes, I am a food snob and Greg and I were a bit disappointed in the service and the food quality!! But really, what did it matter? We were in the happiest place on earth!! Greg and his boss had a wonderful visit!! I of course did not “get” half of what was being said as a lot of talk that evening was a where are they now scenario!!! I was included every now and again by being teased with my over the edgeness and love for Disney! It was all in good fun!!!

I was hoping to have dinner over and done with by at least 8 so we could score a seat for Illuminations, but that was not to happen. We got into the park a few minutes before the start of Illuminations and decided to hightail it out of the park! We caught the first bus back to POP and all was good!!

Of course with dinner being just OK, we decided it was time to see what other than soda was to be had in the cafeteria!! Too bad, so sad I discovered the best chocolate cake on this, my last night in the World!!! If at POP, try the chocolate cake!! You will not be sorry that you did!! Man, that was the best cake I have ever eaten!!!!

Anyway, we refilled our mugs, grabbed our cake and headed back to the room…exhausted!!! Time for a little shut eye as our last evening in the World comes to a close……thoughts of Epcot for tomorrow!!!!!

Was told I could go home at 3 and stayed 30 extra minutes. Picked up 2 pair of jeans while looking for a silver bracelet... found one of those too

Mickey and Minnie called bright and early. There were bags to pack, showers to take and mugs to be refilled. Such a sad turn of events……packing makes leaving so real!! I told Mickey and Minnie that I would be back soon and Greg starts laughing….hysterically. Now why would I talk to wake up call? I am sure some of you have to understand this!! Please tell me I am not the only one who does this……OK we are ready for Epcot…….out the door we go!

We catch the bus and there is that sad last day cloud looming over my head!!! But I plan on enjoying Epcot to the fullest….Test Track first!! The ride is fabulous and Greg and I realize just how old we are getting. We are both actually queasy. No Mission Space for us!!! After our thrilling ride we head toward the bakery by the fountain. The food there is fabulous!! Greg has his frozen coffee and a cheese Danish and I have hot chocolate and some pecan cinnamon Danish thing!! YUMMY!!! And the hot chocolate was quite yummy as it really was a bit on the brisk side that morning.

After breakfast, we decide to go and live with the land. Our driver was great! He showed me a ton of hidden Mickey’s all throughout the ride. Make sure to look for the Mickey form that is in a Cinderella Pumpkin….it is going to be one very cool pumpkin once it is grown!! Now our tummies are settled and we realize we have not yet shopped!!

So off to Mouse Gears to pick up some Mouse Ears for Greg’s coworkers and a puppy present. Greg picks the very nice Mickey bed. I think Barkley is pleased. We stuff all of our goodies in my basket and are off to the World Showcase. This is our last chance to eat around the world! And eat we did!!

First stop, Mexico for a kids meal. We each get a taco, chips and a coke. Just the right size!! And yummy too. Of course Norway is next on the agenda and strawberry rice cream is just too good to pass by. Greg and I share one, but Greg seems to get the better part of the portion. If the turkey leg cart would have been open, I would have had one…but alas, it does not open until 12:30 and our time is now strictly budgeted!!! Off to France to share a crepe and then we stop at the UK to pick up some yummy chocolate for the trip home! I am a total stress eater…can you see my stress level??? Anyway, one last look around and we are headed for our bus. A big tear rolls down my face and Greg smiles. Yes, I do this every single time!!! We are on our way back to get our stuff and head for home.

We get back to POP and all are bags are on a nice big luggage cart. Our driver is scheduled to pick us up in a half hour. He is early and the reality really hits me…vacation is over!!! I do have to give Henry (I think that was his name) a huge thanks!! He is a great guy. He is capable of putting many of us knowledgeable DISers to shame with his knowledge of Disney. His dad was a carpenter that helped to build the castle! What a wonderful story!! Of course Greg was giggling with delight that someone finally knew more about the Mouse than me!! He giggled like a school girl as he watched my face which was mesmerized by Henry’s utter knowledge. In no time at all, we were at the airport!! I swear this was the shortest trip to the airport ever!!

On the plane, I meet the nicest lady who would love to take her kids to Disney but has no idea what to do…….another short ride and we are home!!!

This was a great trip. The firsts were the best!!! I would highly recommend Pop Century if you are a party of 2 or 3…..any more than that it might get pretty crowded!! If there was ever a thought of needed and using an ECV….do it!! Walker Mobility is the best!!!! Early Entry…don’t miss it!!! Wishes….OMG!! Unbelievable! Can’t wait to start planning the next trip and catching up on all the things we missed this time around!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel no matter how much you have done you always want to do more. I am glad that I am not the only one who gets a heavy heart on the last day.

Okay, I had to go over to Target. Almost out of all types of drinks. I wound up getting a mirror so I can actually see all of me in it (I haven't had one since 2000), a poster frame and a chain for my cross. Very frazzled.

I need ot go back and read. I feel so bad for not catching up right now, but who knew that putting a poster in a frame would be so hard

And yes Tina, more frazzled after shopping... really am not good at it

So I will so my best and forgive me if I missed something.

Tara, glad that your blood sugar levels have been okay. I think sometimes those tests are very screwy. A friend of mine was almost diagnosed with it until they realized her Sprite was the culprit (she totally forgot as she was drinking it... but lack of caffeine was hard for her to find drinks). HOpefully all else goes well! Oh and I hoep your little one feels better soon!

Kimmie, I am sure you all will have a blast at Third Day! And I would suggest to you to cut your hair, but I realize this isn't me. I don't need it very long, but where it is, just is too short and doesn't fit my personality. It will grow though and it was worth a shot. Just dont' take many pics of me in Chicago please (this is to everyone going obviously). I don't want ot remember my hair this way.
