Karen glad Chat helped you. Have not been there in a while. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

I do not know how much my pots were. My DH bought them for me but I am sure he would not spend 500 on them. DD said he bought them on sale that is all she remembers. I got them for my birthday.

Major super longgg kechup here.
Last I posted was mall day. Just got jeans, but enjoyed the window shopping.

RM is looking for a change…pampering, nails the spa works. May build a bear thanks to Nancy. Wants a quick week. OD’d on malted milk balls.

Todd’s bracket is in the gutter. Sounds like my bowling. Gets to hide stuff in the attic and keep his sentimental stuff in the basement too.

Elaine needs another vacation. Been working hard working and working out too. Dreaming of life in FL. May build a bear some day. Rescuer of stuffed animals. Has shower date. (So, what's the date? Chicago on or not for you?) Got her “ears lowered.”

Nancy had a great retail therapy day. Lily was a fashion princess. Inspiring other YaYas to build a bear. Fed DH for the week and sent him to Phoenix and San Diego! Running a hair styling contest.

Kristy is arranging spa apts. Working too. Pitches just like Amanda…don’t pitch the stuffed animals or you might get bit. Studying, rotating bears and multiplying rabbits…?

Tara missed museum for tax work. Nursery is primary colors. Sorry about the gd.

Suzanne worked hard all weekend. Researching the upcoming move via computerland. Mmmm, bakery. Promoted Kim.

CS said bil is pasworded? What’s that? Saves books/cd/dvd and all from dbf, may pitch the rest. Nevah pitch the jewels! Playing on pogo.

Sherry’s boys are on spring break already. Yikes! One broken window already! Boys! Is a packrat. Ready to toss out the boys! Trading 12 yo with RM. No willpower?

Deena is over spring break. Ready for Disney vac. Is a packrat for sure.

Amanda giving us all good wishes for a quick week! Is the queen of organize! Pitches when you don’t look. Don’t touch the books or baking stuff though if you know what’s good for ya. Can’t get to the attic…great place to hide all the stuff then.

Beth is looking to set up a room for guests and wishing Amanda will assist.

Kim made a dash in. Gave up looking for a video hosting site. How fun. Siggie pic is still awesome! May change up a bit thanks to Suzanne’s idea. Liking her ding dong promotion. Packrat of stuffed animals.

Tina sent her basket. Got her basket. Not a pack rat.

Pam been busy with the deadline and waiting around for mystery package.

Jeannie isn’t clearing anything til after the spring thaw. Tax time now. Ready for a dinner invite. Cookware hunting.

Liz is back! Great trip report. Returning in December!

Karen having Amanda over to do her magic. Stay well.

Eek stories of cross dressing.

Spring hairstyling time.
...and that's what I did tonight! Good night all! Catch Ya in a couple days.:teeth:

Have fun, Lily!! I love Las Vegas!

 Karen.

Okay....you all had me curious about my cookware so I went and dug out the info on it.
Elaine...$500!! Never, never! I love to cook and bake and I would never spend that much. Are they coated in gold or something ;)
Mine are Ultrex 18/10 Stainless with Excalibur coating.
cost for 10 pieces...a mere $130. I added a steamer (pan, insert and lid) for another $35.
But that was about 15 years ago. I haven't replaced any peices yet....but think since I dug out the info I might just see how their warranty really is ;)
Here ya go "Metal cooking utensils can be used. Knife cutting not recommended ;) LOL....
Scratches may occur in normal use, however they will not affect the nonstick surface or performance of the pan. (and they are great nonstick!!).
Safe in oven up to 350º.
Disnwasher safe. Handwashing recommended if using harsh dish detergent over a long period of time (I do had wash mine, but put the lids in....which by the way are glass).
Happy Cooking everyone ;)

and good night

Evening ya yas!

Long day, but a feel good one! My DM was awesome as always, and inventory at B&BW went smoothly. It was strange not calling the shots, though!

I'm just gonna reply to Jeanne's request about cookware, and I'll ketchup the rest tomorrw. Skip if you're not at all interested in cookware!!!

I'm a major foodie. I've got:
Calphalon...hubby insisted on it. Professional Non Stick. It's great, just doesn't like our hard water. It truly is non stick, as long as you give a 5 minute soak to anything. Also have the Emerilware Anodized Aluminum and wish I'd bought more of it.

Cast Iron Skillet...took 3 years, but that baby is cured to perfection and is really non stick now!

All Clad- Only have one of them, and want more. Great heating skills. I have a Macy's knockoff of a sauteuse that I'm pretty sure was made for them by all clad...it is great for doing cream sauces.

LeCreuset-By far the most pricey stuff I've ever owned, but it is bulletproof. After the house is sold, one of the splurges will be a few more pieces. It does it all, can go in the oven and cleans right up, even after someone (who shall remain nameless-Ed) makes the rice stick to the bottom of the pot!

Any other kitchen questions, ask away...I've got almost every kitchen gadget you can think of.

Suzanne

I will have to ask Todd what pots and pans we have. He bought them, I believe there were 50% off or more and paid $100, he will have to confirm. I also have some very old BIG LOTS stuff that needs pitched, but not until I get a few more good pots. The old stuff is great to use when camping.

I love having my hair done. Nothing like the feel of nice, clean hair.

Good morning y'all....

Geez, I didn't realize it was that money to spend on a cookeware set  You should see some of the other prices I have come across :o But this brand was recommended to me by a few family and friends. I guess I saw it as the same as buying the Kitchen Aid mixer... I'd never want another again... but I'll hush now....

Karen glad that chat helped you :)

Kristy, a little slow? I could be mean with that, but I wont ;)

Tina, no matter what he spent, that was nice of him to get you a good set :)

Great ketchup there Lily!!!! The shower date is April 17th at 2:00 PM in Cleveland. I'll just be going up for the shower and coming right back home. Enjoy your trip!!!

Nancy, sounds like you got a good set there... I probably would die with yours since I do use knifes in my pots when I cook.

Wow, Suzanne you have a good range of stuff. And sorry you had such a long day!

Amanda, we had some pieces that we used for camping only as well!! And I agree... getting hair done is great. Although I really love the massages on the scalp when they wash :)

Well off to get some work done...

Elaine..I also love the massages. I have to tell you the Mandy Ellen feel asleep getting her hair done once, that is how relaxing our hairstylist is.

Mornin' YaYas! :sunny:

Elaine, thought since you'd be around my space we could say hi for a quick sec, but I'll be headed to Fla then. Have fun at the shower.
:sunny: Won't participate in the cookware thing. Have old set of club aluminum. They work well for our needs. Probably should buy new, but these are still good. (I'm domestically challenged...what would I know?)

Have a great day (few days as I am off!) Later YaYas...

Sounds like you have a great stylist then, Amanda!!! I like ones who talk to me while gettin the cut done, but at that point I enjoy the warm water and the "silence" when they massage away. To fall asleep would be great :p And funny, the brushing (if done right) feels that way too!

Lily, too bad I won't be there when you are there. I am sure I'll make it up to Cleveland again sometime soon. Of course I'd pick FL over OH any day ;)

We got Revereware, I think it was a 8 or 10 piece set
Got it for $50...Think they are stainless steel...A friend of mine had a niece that worked at JCPenneys and they had a special sale for employees only and I got the hook up..:teeth: ..
Love'em...Try pricing them Elaine..

Was reading what someone said they paid for hotel stay at WDW last year...$5300.:earseek: ..I'd be doing DVC for sure....

Up bright and early as I still seem to be on Mickey time!! Boy, do I misss the World already!!!!

As promised....day 2....

Mickey and Minnie called promptly at 6:15.....Mickey seems to have changed his message and Minnie was chatty as well!! What a wonderful way to be woken up. Greg of course laughs at the fact that I actually listen to the wake up call and rolls over and tells me not to turn the lights on and to gt him up when I am done! Me being the nice person that I am, turn the lights on immediately and procede to get ready for the morning. When I am done, off ont he ECV to fill our refillable mugs. By the time I get back, he is just about ready for the day!!!! By the way, our room was in the 90's the FARTHEST place away from anything!!! But I am not complaining!! It just took a while to scoot from one place and back to the room.

We are off to Animal Kingdom. Last time we were there we only managed to do the safari and see It's Tought to be a Bug. We grab some frozen coffee and Banana bread and head off to It's Tough to be a Bug. We think we are going to do early entry into Dinoland....but that is not the case. It is not open for early entry. So we patiently wait and are there for the rope drop. We ride Primeaval Whirl and Dinosaur for the forst time ever!! What fun! We head to the Lion King show next!!! How awesome!!! I really enjoyed it as did Greg. But hte park is now starting to get crowded and hot, so we decide we will come back another day. Time to go, so off to Epcot we head!!!

Epcot is much less crowded. It is so nice to be in Epcot. We do more firsts, such as Ellen's Universe of Energy, have a Kaki Gori, watch the Chinese acrobats, eat at the Biergarden, ride the Mexico ride, and snoop in all of the little shops in the countries. What fun. I have to say, nothing of these "firsts" really wowed us. BUt they were fun none the less. Would I do them again? Maybe not, but I am glad to say I have had the experiance. About 7 pm we decided to start hunting down a nice spot for Illuminations since the handicapped viewing area was reserved for a large private party. Now that kind of irked me. Not because I was mad for me, but because I really think Disney should keep those areas for the people intended. But I am sure some group paid big bucks for that spot so why not let them have it!! I was fortunate enough to be able to get out of my chair and watch if need be, but there were many people who really had it bad, and I felt bad for those people. Anyway, off my sopabox. Greg found this awesome spot next to the fish and chips stand in the UK. It was right on the water and there were even benches to sit on. So Greg and I got to watch Illuminations sitting side by side!!Truely a touching moment. Yes, I cried....I always do!!!

While we waited Greg got some fish and chips for me and a hot dog for him. Then of course we just had to have Beaver Tails. Yummy!!! We met some very nice people from Michigan and Chicago and talked the night away. The 2 hours prior to Illumintions just slipped right by. Illuminations was stunning and then off to the bus.

The bus station was a million miles away, and there were a ton of people waiting in line. Because of the ECV, I was directed to the front of the line with Greg in tow.....life is good. ANd we all jsut about made it on that bus, and thank goodness another was pulling up just as we left!!!

Off to go night night cause tomorrow is gonna be another fun filled day!!!!
